Jun 05, 2024 · Carmen RMy experience with IBA IBT has been an incredible journey that I’m so thankful for. The instructors are world-class artists who are also extremely gifted teachers. They have an eye for spotting the nuances in your technique which need to be adjusted but can be difficult to spot. They took my development very seriously even though I was not part of the regular year round program and only came for the summer.I joined the summer intensive with the Level 7 students. All of the girls I studied with were so kind, helpful, creative and collaborative with one another. This is a serious learning environment in which all students (even non-traditional ones like myself) are given the opportunity to develop their talent. You can feel how much love Ms. Vera, Mr. Francois, Ms. Saland and the other faculty pour into their students every day.I had never completed an intensive like this one before, and it was very challenging, but my ability to remember the variations improved immensely. We got the opportunity to learn about longevity and strength building exercises to support dance health. I’m very grateful for my experience at IBA and I am so glad a school like this exists.
Aug 31, 2024 · Katherine LindboeThis academy is a gem! It is truly the best in the area for ballet and other dance classes, with endless opportunity for growth as a dancer, professionally or simply for fun. My daughter has enjoyed learning tap, jazz and ballet here for five years now, and she did summer ballet camp this summer which she really liked. I also have enjoyed my experience taking ballet and other classes for adults here over the years. They have a good selection of classes for any age, boys too. Wonderful instructors, owner and the office manager who care about the students and put their heart into their work.
Aug 21, 2022 · Ksenia BI started here when I was 3. I am now 14 and all I can say is I have grown a tremendous amount. All the teachers are like my own family just like all the friends I have made over the years I have made so many friends and I have enjoyed my experience. I can’t wait to continue because every time I dance I feel like a better version of myself her at IBA. This is my second family and home I love all the memories I have and the ones still to come. I would definitely recommend IBA for all ages.
Nov 27, 2024 · Audrey DemarreThe worst experience I and my young daughter ever had. I would not recommend this school to any little girl. The teacher, who teaches 5 & 6 years old kids is not friendly to parents and she doesn't enjoy working with kids. How can the Ballet teacher tell the mom that her daughter can't follow the simplest directions, she is complaining and so on...?? My girl has been attended "All-that-dance" Ballet Studio (Seattle) for the whole year and she enjoyed it because Ms.Emily was a gifted teacher, but here...speechless...After attending ONLY 3 classes in September and having conversation with Ms.Alison we decided to stop taking ballet classes. I paid tuition for 2 months+ registration fee and didn't get any refund... The admin staff doesn't care about the reputation of The International Ballet Academy. They only care about MONEY! I checked the reviews about their school in different sources and unfortunately people got the same experience as we did. Not recommended!
