Heart & Sole Dance Studio offers a comprehensive range of dance classes designed to cater to various ages, abilities, and interests. Their curriculum emphasizes strong technical foundations, artistic expression, and a supportive learning environment. Here's a breakdown of the services typically offered:
- Ballet (Ages 6-18): Structured classes focusing on fundamental technique and artistry. Beginning with warm-up and barre exercises, these classes build strength, balance, and precision. Proper posture, alignment, and control are emphasized. As dancers progress, they may take multiple classes per week and work towards pointe.
- Tap (Ages 6-18): A rhythmic and percussive dance form where dancers create intricate beats and patterns using special shoes. Classes involve learning fundamental steps, improving technique through drills, and mastering choreographed routines.
- Hip Hop (Ages 4-18): An energetic and dynamic style rooted in urban culture. Participants learn a variety of movements including isolations, popping, locking, and breaking, with an emphasis on individuality, creativity, and self-expression set to upbeat music.
- Jazz (Ages 4-18): A dynamic and expressive style blending elements of ballet, modern dance, and African dance. Classes cover a diverse set of movements including isolations, leaps, and turns, often set to upbeat and varied musical styles, emphasizing individual expression and style.
- Contemporary (Ages 6-18): A fluid and expressive form drawing inspiration from various dance styles. Characterized by freedom of movement, versatility, and emphasis on individual expression, often exploring emotions and narratives through floor work and improvisation.

May 22, 2019 · Skip JacksonHeart & Sole Dance Studio is a fantastic, fun, positive environment for dancers of all ages! Family oriented & one of the best dance programs around. Jill and her staff work so hard to make sure each and every dancer has the best possible experience. Students are taught not only a variety of styles and techniques, but also self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, and most importantly to respect and support others. This studio has had such a positive impact on my life and continues to do so for hundreds of dancers every day.
Mar 14, 2018 · Colleen GioriHeart and sole is an amazing studio to attend no matter what level you are. This place provides a safe place to learn and improve on your skills. There are so many different styles of dances that you can take. The staff and dancers are amazing people!
Jun 27, 2019 · Brianna CochranAs a former and proud if I do so so myself student whose attended, I can say that I respect Heart and Sole for what it does to inspire younger and even older dancers. They've opened up a lot more in variety in terms of dance styles overtime and it's not like they're falling out of that momentum they have going. They're genius ideas are driven by many amazing women and men (I'm looking at Kyle, Justin, Ezra, Jayden, you know, the usual praise they get) and it's not misplaced! There are still millions out there who've grown shy of the spotlight and are feared by large groups and audiences! But, what this studio does is build confidence, makes you more comfortable, and doing so could completely conquer your fear. Or at least, they had that impact on me for the past 6 years, I've attended. So, if a child of yours likes to dance and you're a parent or guardian trying to explore your options for them to learn, look no further than Heart and Sole Dance Studio!
