Heart of the Valley YMCA Reviews
the equipment is very nice, some barbells could use a quick cleaning but other than that everything is very well taken care of. the staff is incredibly kind, and they get to know you which makes me happy. the locker rooms (women’s at least) are kept clean and in good shape. the community here is amazing, everyone is kind and you get to make some “friends” here. they have all the equipment you may need to get a good lift. they also recently added bumper plates so you’re able to do olympic lifts if you want.also- they have a pool and hot tub
Jan 30, 2025 · Ivy RaenI use this only for the gym. It is kept clean and organized for the most part. Most of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The equipment is kept safe and always tagged to not be used if it’s waiting for repair.Defiantly could use more lifting equipment. Also issues of high school kids constantly gathering in groups to goof around and take up equipment and not using it.Lastly, the locker rooms wreak. There is carpet on the floor which is just a bacteria breeding ground especially with the pool and showers right there. Locker room isn’t always clean either.Edit. Proof the locker rooms are nasty. This has been on the floor for over 2 weeks now. Completely unsanitary.

Jun 10, 2025 · Heather HayesIt was such a fun and great environment! My little sister took swim lessons, gymnastics, and dance classes and loved all of her coaches and teachers! We do have a membership that allows us to swim and go to the gym. Play basketball. There's so much to do here! In the summer, there's daycare for kiddos!!!
Jan 15, 2024 · Hope ClausnitzerBeen a fan of the YMCA since my youth. Active with it through my adult life. Great programs they offer. From youth to elderly. This YMCA has just a smaller pool. Used more for swimming lessons open swimming, and silver sneakers members.Tons of programs for our youth. They don't discriminate. Just here to help people and set goals. Kids summer programs are just starting. Sign them up. Good way to keep them busy and involved in the communities. Get them out of the house. Children are watched and get graded for there performance. Highly recommend the YMCA. So much more than just a health club. Make you feel welcomed. They also offer scholarships for families that can't afford the membership. Again I highly recommend the YMCA. Was just there today. Also very clean YMCA. Fairly new building. It is off CE exit. Turn on Railroad to get to it. Turn right at the round about. First right will be the driveway after the apartments. Huge parking lot.
