Encounter Arts Academy

13045 Harmon Rd Unit #603, Fort Worth, TX 76177, USA

4.0
I started my daughter here just a few months ago. At first it all seemed great but I quickly realized that their moral compass does not align with mine, and my daughter wasn't getting much individual attention along with the other girls. Instead of making sure each girl was doing the moves correctly it was more of an ok we pretty much all have it, good enough. They had a winter showcase that there was very little preparation for. My daughters class barely got to practice their routine before hand leading up to the showcase which was pretty infuriating to be honest. I feel like the girls were not set up for success. This studio bases their company on faith and God but the root of everything seems to be greed. Being so money hungry and claiming to be a faithful company left a very very bad taste in my mouth.Early on I recommended this dance academy to a friend. She joined, had similar feelings to mine and had other problems from them. She also decided to take her daughter out and leave. Thankfully I spoke with her about leaving because she reminded me that if 30 days notice isn't given before deciding to leave they will charge you a $50 fee(again, just money money money).I will not be recommending this dance academy to anyone going forward. - Mia
