Dancing Dogs Yoga offers a comprehensive array of yoga classes and related services designed to cater to a diverse community, ensuring there's a practice for every body and every stage of the yoga journey.
- Power Vinyasa Yoga (Heated & Unheated): This is a core offering, known for its energizing, challenging, and powerful sequences that link breath with movement. Classes vary in length (e.g., 60, 75, or 90 minutes) and are offered with or without heat (up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit for heated classes). Expect to move, sweat, breathe, and leave transformed.
- Power Flow Essentials: A slower-paced version of their Power Flow classes, focusing on the fundamentals of yoga, including the physical form of poses and the movement of breath. Ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of alignment and foundational principles.
- Restorative Yoga: Gentle classes designed to help unwind, de-stress, and release distractions. These slow-paced sessions utilize props to encourage deep release in both standing and seated postures, concluding with guided meditation and Savasana. Perfect for beginners and those seeking relaxation.
- Yin Yoga: A practice focused on improving overall mobility, range of motion, and flexibility. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes, primarily on the floor, targeting deep connective tissues (fascia) to promote relaxation and complement more dynamic (yang) practices.
- VinYin: A blend that brings ease to a power yoga practice, combining elements of Yin yoga with the principles of power yoga for a deeply restorative and nourishing experience.
- Hatha Yoga (Unheated): An ancient practice offering a slower-paced exploration of muscular engagement, alignment, and breathwork to connect deeply with body, mind, and spirit. The room is unheated and set to a comfortable temperature (e.g., 80 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Inspired Vinyasa Flow: A dynamic class that uses breath to heat the body, linking each breath with each movement. It offers a familiar outline of postures with added creative inspiration and variations to keep energy flowing.
- Ebb and Flow: A class that allows for release and ease, as well as soaking up and recharging, typically involving a slow flow with deep twists and stretches.
- Yoga 101: Embrace the Basics: Specific workshops or series designed for absolute beginners to introduce them to fundamental yoga concepts, poses, and studio etiquette.
- Teacher Certification Programs (200 & 300 Hour): Comprehensive training programs designed for individuals aspiring to become yoga instructors or deepen their personal practice, focusing on leadership, ingenuity, and personal transformation.
- Workshops and Special Events: A wide variety of unique experiences, including themed flows (e.g., Britney Brunch Yoga Flow), social events (e.g., Yogaritas), meditation workshops, healing experiences (e.g., Reiki), and deep dives into yoga philosophy (e.g., Bhagavad Gita Book Club).
- Private Lessons: One-on-one or private group lessons available in the studio or at an office, providing personalized attention and tailored instruction.
- Retreats: Opportunities to travel the world with DDY for immersive yoga experiences and trainings in magical locations.

Dancing Dogs Yoga Reviews
What a great studio! Beautiful and bright atmosphere where the instructors reflect the atmosphere. I enjoyed being able to get in two classes at this studio during my visit!
Mar 11, 2025 · Sam LieuranceI’ve been wanting to get back into yoga after a many-years hiatus. When I looked into studios, it seemed like every place only offered hot yoga which is not my speed. I learned about Dancing Dogs Yoga while taking a puppy yoga class at the AHS taught by a DDY instructor. I was pleased to find out that DDY offers both unheated and heated classes as well as classes for all levels of students—beginners to advanced. I joined the studio and have been every day since. I’ve taken restorative, yin, Hatha and slower flow classes. In short, I love DDY and highly recommend.
Apr 01, 2025 · Jennifer SilverThe amount that I was charged for two people to do a yoga class is INSANE. Not only that I cannot believe that all of the funds go to the studio. This place supports breeders, you should get with a shelter and help dogs in need not your own pockets, also by the last class happens thoes poor babies are exhausted. DO BETTER.
Jun 02, 2025 · ashley HurdleDancing dogs is a great studio! I’ve taken different classes with different teachers and everyone has been amazing in a unique way. Great sound tracks, interesting classes - doesn’t feel like the repetitive classes I’ve been to at other places. Highly recommend
Mar 11, 2025 · Kathy CrainThe best yoga studio in Atlanta! The instructors are knowledgeable, welcoming, and flexible with everyone’s experience level. I love the contrast of classes offered so I can move my body no matter what my energy level or mood is that day!
