Classical Dance Arts Reviews
I wish I found this studio years ago! I was so impressed and my daughter learned so much just from one class here! Ms Cherye has 50 years of experience in dancing and teaching! The environment is so welcoming and so beautiful as well, we can’t wait to call this dance studio our home. I’m so thankful I found this place. Please look no further for your dance classes!
Jan 24, 2024 · Britney NI was a student here from 1986-2002 (ages 2.5-18). I took time off and came back in January 2010 in her adult classes. Ms. Cherye is an excellent teacher and hasn't lost anything in the time that I was away. The class sizes are excellent for promoting learning, not over crowded like at some other schools. Her fees are also VERY reasonable, and she prices based on the number of classes per family, not just per student.I also like that she does 1 holiday show, and 1 spring show each year. I have heard other schools having several performances in 1 weekend which creates some problems for families. Ms. Cherye is very supportive of the student's school schedules and always makes an effort to avoid conflicts with graduation times.Overall I wouldn't go anywhere else. She promotes good technique, and makes everyone feel like they can dance. Its a very warm and open environment for dancers of all ages and backgrounds.
Dec 04, 2012 · Abby BlankI highly recommend Classical Dance Arts for dance lessons. It is a warm, welcoming, and friendly dance environment. It is a quaint one-room studio with beautiful hardwood floors and chandeliers :-) located in the historical area of League City. Their smaller class sizes are great because students receive more individual attention as opposed to getting lost in a giant class! Ms Cherye and Ms Ellen are excellent choreographers which makes recitals very entertaining.
