Apr 29, 2025 · Kara BarnetteOur daughter just finished her first year at CDA in the Wiggle and Whirl class with Miss Jennifer. We had a great experience, Miss Jennifer was very welcoming and kind. We are looking forward to next year!
May 12, 2025 · McKenzie SFor 8 years, my daughter has been a dancer at CDA. She has formed some amazing friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime. We are happy we chose Cabarrus Dance as her dancing home!
Feb 10, 2025 · Meredith VogtMy granddaughter was in the two-year-old class for ballet with Miss Jennifer and her assistant Cassidy. My daughter was in dance as a child and adolescent and had an amazing experience. She wanted to give that same experience to her daughter. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I went to every single dance class on Wednesday morning at 9:30 with my daughter and grandchild. Never once Did Miss Jennifer or Miss Cassidy address my granddaughter or the two other children that were there for dance with even a simple hello or good morning when they passed by them in the lobby. Mind you there are three children in the class. Then on Instagram, my daughter sees a picture of her daughter when she specifically told them do not post pictures of her child on the Internet. Miss Debbie, called my daughter and son-in-law a liar, saying that that was never said or written down. Well she’s the liar because when they signed up my daughter wrote it down after Miss Debbie said to her you can put that in writing. Then the children get their costumes and they proceeded to Take the children and change them into their costume. The parents should’ve changed their own children. We live in a sick world and all children should be taught that nobody should see them undressed or takes their clothes off without their mothers consent. And if all of that wasn’t enough, my granddaughter went into her dance. Class comes out with a busted lip, a bruised gum, and her tooth pushed back because she as we were told was spinning around. Miss Ashley brought her out who was the substitute for the day did a wonderful job in taking care of my granddaughter. Miss Debbie, that sat in The office and did not come out while my granddaughter sobbed hysterically because she was in pain. There is a camera on the back wall next to the TV where you watch your children dance. The camera obviously is connected to the office so she can sit there all day long and tell me she didn’t know what was going on, and there’s children crying all the time all she had to do was look at that camera and see that she had an ice pack on her mouth, blood on her Leotard and all of us were surrounding her trying to console her. We left that day and I decided in the parking lot that I was going to go back in and let Miss Debbie have a piece of my mind. I told her I was furious that she didn’t come out of her office to see what was going on. She proceeded to tell me, that children cry all the time in the dance studio. I told her that if you can’t tell the difference between a child crying because they don’t want to go to dance and a child who screaming in pain, you have no business being around children. I told her to follow me outside and apologize to my daughter and granddaughter. My daughter was upset and decided to leave. So I told her she better call my daughter and apologize. She called and left a message With the same excuse, she gave me. My son-in-law and daughter have decided to pull my grandchild out. They don’t deserve my granddaughter. They should’ve been on the phone calling and making sure my granddaughter was OK. They have still yet to receive a phone call. We’re talking about a two-year-old little girl that was injured in their facility. I am beyond disgusted and furious with the behavior and lack of concern . You need your head examined if you are going to pay for your child to go to this dance studio. They may have the ability to take this down, but I’ve copied it and I will paste it every time I see it removed. I believe that when your company gets too big, you lose connection with your students and it becomes about money. They are way too concerned with their image and can give two shits about their students.
