Carolina Dance Productions Reviews
My daughter has been going to CDP since she was 2 years old. She is 7 now and in her 3rd year of company. My daughter absolutely loves her dance studio, dance friends and teachers/staff. Mrs. Lori (owner) loves all of the students and has the kindest heart. Everyone is always so kind and loving. My girl has developed some of the best friendships. While dancing on company she has learned how to be disciplined, work as a team, how to take a loss with grace and win while still being “Humble and Kind.” I would recommend this studio to anyone that wants the best for their child!
May 12, 2025 · Mekeisha SmithI’ve been dancing at CDP for many years, and it has become a second home to me. The instructors are not only incredibly talented, but they also genuinely care about each dancer’s growth!! The supportive environment has helped me build both my technique and friendships. Whether you’re dancing for fun or competitively, CDP offers something for everyone. I’m so grateful to be part of such a positive and inspiring dance community!
May 12, 2025 · Anna MooreWe strongly advise against sending our daughter to this facility. During her time there, a young boy repeatedly exposed himself to a classroom full of young girls and failed to keep his hands to himself. The lack of communication and the poor excuses provided for the situation were infuriating. There was no accountability or consequence for his actions; he was apparently spoken to by facility. This was unacceptable. We continued to follow up on questioning why the child was still allowed to attend classes despite his behavior. We left several voicemails for the owner, but we received no response. Instead of addressing our concerns, they tried to invalidate our daughter’s feelings by suggesting that she might be overreacting or that the events didn’t happen as she remembered. Instead of calling us back or reaching out to us, they had a follow-up conversation with another child’s parent, not us. No one should discuss my child with anyone other than us.This incident was enough for us, as parents, and my daughter, to stop returning to the facility because she was no longer comfortable. We decided not to take legal action due to the young age of the male student, but we believe that the handling of the situation was unprofessional. We don’t care to hear a response from the facility, but we know that there will be. We are simply sharing our experience to raise awareness about how such incidents should be handled.
May 09, 2025 · S FSuch a popular place. The owner and the teachers we're so kind and the kids loved it here. We recently had to withdraw due to unfortunate circumstance and the entire staff was so kind and helpful and beyond understanding. I would recommend to anyone looking to put their kiddos in dance!
