Our daughter has been attending classes here since she was 3 years old. She is a junior Company Dancer starting this year with 11 years of experience. True classical ballet training is hard to find anywhere, and this area is very fortunate to have that here with BB. It's not easy, and it's not cheap (BUT its way cheaper than many other hobbies out there especially for the hours they give you for your money). If you want to keep your kid in shape, busy, learn discipline, and make friendships that will last their entire lives, here is the place to do that! - Jody Camper

Established in 1948 by Constance Hardinge, this venerable institution has a rich history of nurturing young talent and enriching the local arts scene. It is more than just a dance studio; it's a place where the rigorous discipline of classical ballet meets a supportive and community-oriented environment, fostering artistic growth and personal development.

Finding "true classical ballet training" can be a rare gem, and Bristol Ballet provides precisely that, a fact deeply appreciated by local patrons. As one long-time parent shared, whose daughter has been attending classes since age three and is now a junior Company Dancer, "True classical ballet training is hard to find anywhere, and this area is very fortunate to have that here with BB." This speaks volumes about the quality of instruction and the commitment to traditional ballet techniques that form the bedrock of their curriculum. This rigorous training, while demanding, instills invaluable qualities such as discipline, perseverance, and dedication, shaping well-rounded individuals.

Under the co-artistic direction of Moira Frazier Ostrander and Amanda Hairston, both of whom have deep roots with Bristol Ballet, the organization continues its mission to train and educate the public about the art of dance through exceptional ballet training and captivating productions. Their annual "Nutcracker" ballet, a beloved tradition since 1966, along with other regional acclaimed original works, showcase the talents of their students and provide rich cultural experiences for the community.
