Aug 12, 2024 · Tuan NguyenMy 15-year old was a first-timer for 2 weeks in Summer 2023 and loved it! Highlights included 5 classes per day, high-caliber training from impressive faculty who gave lots of corrections, a range of styles taught (e.g., Russian/Vaganova, Bournonville, ABT repertoire) and a very kind and professional staff who set high expectations for the dancers (e.g., being "on time" means showing up at least 30 minutes before the start of technique class to stretch, absolutely no harassment/no bullying, the studio being a nut-free zone to accommodate those with severe allergies). As a parent, I really loved the parent observation of all classes on the last day and also getting to know other parents through (optional) social gatherings we arranged. We'll be sending our son again for sure!
Aug 14, 2023 · Grace KaoBBSI has always been such a wonderful and safe space. I have attended BBSI for three years now, and each and every year the staff and students make an unforgettable environment. Emma and Patrick have truly dedicated themselves and their craft to helping young dancers. From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed and safe to learn, try new things and make amazing memories. I highly recommend BBSI for young dancers. I have seen so many young male dancers flourish In addition being a female it is an honor to be able to be part of their journeys in partnering and watch them progress over the short period.
