5.0
Bravo!! The Ballet Spartanburg NUTCRACKER 2024 was fabulous! A very well done production with superb sets, costumes, and lighting. A FIVE-STAR GEM! We have attended The Nutcracker in many places over many decades - including the SF Ballet in the '80s and '90s - and this production ranks in the very top tier of them all. The principal dancers were truly magnificent and the rest of the company, including I presume many students, were also delightful in all respects. The choreography and special effects allowed the artistry of the dancers to shine. A first-rate live symphony orchestra brought Tchaikovsky's score to life and added the extra special touch that this production deserved. To all involved: Well done! - Stephen Belton
