Ballet Peeps NYC Reviews
Hope is, without a doubt, one of the most energetic, dedicated, and excited ballet teachers I’ve had the privilege of knowing and studying under. I booked a private with her, thinking it would be a one-off, and by the end of that session I was coming weekly to her studio to study.Whether you or your child is looking to improve their ballet technique in a one-on-one hands-on environment, Hope is bound to give you the most experience for the most accessibility. Her insanely equipped home studio cuts out the middleman, allowing you to save the money you’d spend renting a studio and book another private! Her attention to detail gets your head in the game—Point that foot! Don’t sit! Turn out the back leg even more!—but it’s the joy that keeps you coming. She lights up when you demonstrate having absorbed a correction and as things start to (always little by little, as this training goes) fall into place, you realize that she is the kind of teacher you want to please. The kind who will get you thinking about your alignment on the 2 train. The kind who will get you stretching your leg on your shower windowsill to shave your legs.Half a year in, and I’m a completely different dancer, with so much more to do but excited to persist in the journey. If you seek out Hope, I know she’ll help you experience the same.
Jun 27, 2024 · Jesse FeatherstoneI started ballet at age 41 and feel so grateful to have Hope as my instructor. We have met virtually for the past 2 years and even I marvel at my own progress. Her attention to detail and tips/tricks have been invaluable. She is supportive and encouraging, motivating me to take my body to another level. I highly recommend working with Hope as she understands the inner workings of the body and movement. She has also taught me to incorporate ballet into my everyday life, even whilst holding a stack of pizzas. Ive had people come up to me asking about my workout regiment as my body has transformed. Forever grateful for instructors like Hope who lead with their passion to help others achieve what was once considered impossible.
May 30, 2023 · Mina BozzelliI started ballet at a late age, although it has been a passion and dream since childhood. Hope is helping me realize this dream with her talent, accurate teaching and precise like I have not seen in any other teacher, and most importantly, her passion for sharing ballet with me. Her teaching has been helping me in many ways. I am studying different types of dance, and I already feel the difference when I take classes outside. Mentally, I feel more encouraged and build more self-confidence every day.Her students are encouraged to have discipline and consistency, and if you are willing to follow them, she can take you far in your goal of dancing with grace and confidence.Hope is a true Gem!
May 29, 2023 · Crishna KingHope is absolutely delightful and has helped me as an absolute beginner (never having done any ballet before at all) at 21 achieve so much in a span of a few months. She has helped correct me in my mistakes and I’ve actually felt and seen improvement in myself from the first class I’ve had with her. If anyone is like me don’t be discouraged she is a wonderful teacher and will only uplift you to do better 💜
Jul 21, 2023 · Jasmine RojasIf I could give Hope a ten star, I would give her twenty. That’s how amazing she is as a ballet teacher. 💕💕💕Hope is always passionate and extremely patient. In her classes, it is not just about barre moves. She teaches you how to find the strength of your own body and do ballet moves correctly. Finding the connection and everything making sense couldn’t feel any better. If you are looking to learn ballet seriously, learn with her and follow her advices, regardless you are young or elder. You will see the change tremendously.
