Austin Bellydance Studio Reviews
Bahaia is a wonderful teacher. You can tell that she really cares about her students and puts love into her studio. Everything from giving us name tags so she can learn all of our names, to the complimentary water bottles and soft drinks, to the way that she takes her time to fully answer questions and explain movements to students shows how dedicated she is to this space. And one of the most important things to me personally as someone of middle eastern decent, is that she gives credit to the origins of the dance and even explains to students the importance of supporting belly dance costume designers from the country of origin when we can. ❤️
Mar 15, 2023 · Yasmeen RasheedI love Bahaia’s class! She takes great care in ensuring students understand the basic mechanics of body movement as well as the cultural thinking behind the dance form. I (and I believe the rest of my class) have a lot of fun and feel as if I have made progress in learning basic bellydance in the last 10 months I have attended. Looking forward to many more!
Jul 26, 2022 · Michelle MeleThis is a beautiful studio, and the owner is a lovely person. Friendly, professional, and easy to work with. There is a large ballroom with a great dance floor and one mirror-lined wall. A second, smaller room is set up for Zoom presentations/recordings.There are two accessible bathrooms, a snack bar area, and a changing closet. Limited parking out front, but ample on street parking.I am using the space for recording Argentine tango lessons.
