Both of my children have been dancing at AUM for years. They have learned many different dance styles over the years, including Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, Hip Hop, Kathak, etc. They are also members of the AUM elite dance team who have performed at many famous venues around the world as well as won countless awards at multiple dance competitions.The dance teachers and assistants all share a passion for dance and are very accommodating with students of all skill levels. This is clearly evident at AUM's annual dance recital; a multi-hour dazzling spectacle of lights, sound, color and dancing. It really is an amazing show that needs to be experienced to be appreciated.All of the dance skills and awards pale in comparison to what my children truly gained; self confidence, positive body image, teamwork, sportsmanship and lifelong friendships. These things aren't easily taught. AUM does a phenomenal job of incorporating these core lessons into everything it offers such as regular dance classes, one off dance workshops, dance competitions, dance trips around the world, dancing for charity, summer dance camp and the list goes on.AUM's students and parents have become like family over the years. I can't imagine having sent my kids to any other dance school, nor can my kids imagine dancing anywhere else.

Our experience with AUM Dance Creations has been absolutely phenomenal! This dance company has not only introduced our daughters to Bollywood dance but has also ignited their passion for it and our culture.We weren’t sure if our girls would be interested in Bollywood dance. They did ballet/tap as toddlers but never really enjoyed it. Living so far away from family for so many years they didn’t have much exposure to our culture. After attending one of the recitals they were intrigued and after a few classes they were hooked.Rina and her team of instructors are not just talented dancers but also fantastic with kids. I love how many of the assistant instructors are or were students of AUM. My girls eagerly looked forward to every class.The choreography is age-appropriate and skillfully designed to cater to different levels of dance abilities. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some prior dance experience, the instructors ensure that everyone feels included and challenged at their own pace.The end-of-term showcases are a real treat! Watching our kids perform on stage with confidence and joy was a moment we'll cherish forever. The costumes, music, and choreography are all top-notch and showcase the hard work and dedication of the instructors.AUM has created classes/opportunities for different levels of interest with 25 locations in NJ. Most students participate in the Bollywood classes but they also offer Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance) and a chance to join a competitive team. Some locations even offer adult classes.Our girls have not only gained dancing skills but have also developed self-confidence, discipline, and an appreciation for our beautiful culture. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and we highly recommend AUM to all parents looking to introduce their kids to the magic of Bollywood dance. My daughter has been with AUM for over 8 years now. Rina and her team of instructors are AMAZING!!! They are wonderful to be around and are like extended family. The teachers are very encouraging to push your child to be the best person he / she can be both in and out of class. I personally have seen so many improvements in my daughter - not just in her dance skills but also in her personality and confidence. AUM dance classes are fun and relaxed but at the same time challenging. Over time, as the teachers get to know the students, they will give suggestions and improvements in order to take the dancer's skills to the next level - whether it be for the regular group class or the elite dance team. Rina and her team know how to teach a variety of dance styles and are always approachable to ask questions. AUM makes learning to dance a FUN experience!! Highly recommend!!

AUM is by far the best dance school out there! Both my children and I are a part of the wonderful AUM dance family, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. My daughter has been a student of Rina’s for over 10 years now. My son has been dancing with AUM for the last 5 years as well. What they have learned over the years from dance form, technique, confidence, sportsmanship and close-knit friendships, is beyond amazing. My daughter is a member of the award-winning dance troupe. They’ve traveled near and far to showcase talented dancers to places like Disney, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Bermuda, Paris and more. She was also fortunate to become an assistant teacher and that has been an amazing experience for her. Rina and Anu have allowed her to be part of something spectacular…. the art of teaching dance to the younger generation. The teachers and staff at AUM are truly dedicated and have a passion like no other. The recital at the end of the year is a true testament to the hard work, passion and dedication. They treat our kids as their own and only want the best for them. AUM has become family. I have been dancing at AUM since its first year. I started as a student and eventually became a teacher for this school. AUM Dance Creations is so much more than just a dance school that will teach your kid how to dance. Yes, I was able to learn and even become certified in various styles through the guidance of teachers who I could tell truly cared about me. I was able to gain confidence by being a member of a competitive team and I learned lifelong skills that I now use in college by having a job at this dance school. My parents were always able to have their questions answered and knew their daughter was in the right hands at AUM because they saw through my performances and just watching me in class that over the years I grew as both a dancer and person. The passion that teachers and my fellow dancers at AUM have of dance is what inspired me to keep dancing in college because after all the year of make memories at AUM I can't imagine stopping dance now. At AUM, I have learned how to dance, got to compete at competitions, performed at amazing venues like Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall, traveled to Paris and Disney World, learned how to pass on my love of dance to the next generation, and most importantly, I found a second family in AUM Dance Creations.
