Artivism Dance Reviews
Love the variety of dance styles offered at this studio. I really enjoy the whacking and vogueing classes offered.
Jan 29, 2025 · Bethany NakanishiI love this studio!!! The classes are so engaging and fun! The staff is very professional and knowledgeable in their art form. I enjoyed every minute of my classes! I feel so welcomed every time I take a class. They also have a gorgeous and clean studio. I will definitely be going more often! It’s also a great workout for anyone looking for a fun way to exercise! I have already recommended them to new dancers in the city! Thank you!
Jun 16, 2021 · Waverly EvansArtivism Dance is not only excellent in terms of quality dance performance with a focus on social change and justice, but is also a superb studio for learning. My experience with learning at Artivism Dance was entirely encouraging, supportive, and educational. My dance experience is beginner (I'll have a blast on the dancefloor of a wedding, but "skillful" is not the descriptor); but the class instruction has been knowledgeable, inclusive, and challenging in the best of ways. It is easy to tell that the instructor has a great breadth of knowledge and passion for their art that comes across in their teaching. Artivism has a plethora of passionate and superbly talented instructors and performers; but I can personally attest to Jordan's skillfulness and cannot recommend his Breaking class highly enough.
Jun 14, 2021 · Jacob Prescott (MisterAbstruse)Artivism is one of my favorite studios in New Orleans! They create a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere in all of their classes. I always leave feeling so happy. They do excellent work both in the studio and outside the studio. I recommend them to everyone!!
Jun 14, 2021 · Hannah BahneyMy 4-year old daughter has been taking dance classes here for a while. Their format fits us to a T. We can come one week and not worry about missing if we are out of town. I also love that the goal of the classes are body awareness, fun, and movement based. We had previously gone to a more traditional dance studio where I had to pay over $200 just for leotard and dance costumes…for a 2 year old y’all. Some may be into that but I’ll never make the switch back given this option!
