We walked in with a gift certificate for swing dance lessons then fast forward a year a half and we're into all of the smooth and rhythm dances! Mar 06, 2025 · Steve ReynoldsI found myself in need of a new hobby to keep my life interesting. I was looking for something active and social. I have always enjoyed listening to music, seeing live bands and would occasionally mix it up on the dance floor. I had never taken a lesson before and had no real knowledge of any dance style. I decided to sign up for lessons at AMW. I had no idea what I was in for. I thought I would learn a little salsa or add some rhythm to my social dancing. I was quickly introduced to the world of ballroom dancing. I was taught many different styles of ballroom dancing and found them all to be challenging yet fun and interesting. The instructors are extremely talented and gifted at teaching dance. They really enjoy what they do and they care about your progress as a dancer. The atmosphere is very friendly and non judgemental. You will feel like part of the family so to speak. I am so glad I decided to join this studio. I have been dancing here for 6 months now and I am having a great time! I highly recommend Arthur Murray Weymouth to anyone regardless of skill level if you are looking for a new hobby and would like to experience the world of ballroom dancing.
