I love this place. Great classes- I feel like I learn so much from each class I take. The instructors are super friendly and Shawn is great at offering one on one advice during her classes, so it feels like I am getting just as much out of it as a private lesson. This place is just what I was looking for to help advance my skills for college!

Have taken hip-hop classes from Marissa. She is very good at teaching and communicating with her students. She has great energy,vibes and always very down to earth positive. She gives great criticism which makes you want to learn more , and motivates you to dance more . She explains how you can be comfortable in your own skin, so you can express yourself while dancing. Always excited to attend, she gives you great challenges. Would always return when I get a chance. Studio staff is always very friendly and helpful and the owner is very nice.

I took Shawn's basic hip hop class. It was very high energy and fun!. The best dance class I've ever tried. I've been to some salsa and bachata classes before, but this was my first time trying hip hop (outside of the club and house parties lol). The class was this cool mix of learning technical moves and just having a blast. Shawn keeps the energy high and breaks the moves down in a very clear way. When the hour was up, I was like, "Already?!" but super sweaty. The class was so fun that I hadn't realized an hour had passed. I left feeling like me and the other people taking the class could be a legitimate dance crew in a music video lol Thanks Shawn!

Tried the all levels burlesque class last night. If you plan on taking this class, definitely bring some short, comfy, strappy heels- everyone else had these, and it says nothing in the class description about bringing them. I am new to dancing, and took this as a drop in class, and felt that it was more intermediate then beginner/ “all level”. The class was small, and most dancers seemed to know each other and enjoy the class, but I myself definitely felt like an outsider and not super welcome. The first about 10 min was a warmup period with loud music, and it was a bit difficult to follow as I could not hear the instructor over the music. From there, we did about 15 min of yoga/ab workout, and then everyone else put on their heels. The choreography was also difficult as a beginner to follow, as last nights class had quite a few ballet moves, which the teacher would call out and the class seemed to get, but I did not as I don’t have a prior foundation. Class ended rather abruptly, and everyone went their ways.
