Abigail Keyes - Belly Dance Reviews
Ever since my first class with Abigail (circa 2009?), I have found her perspective to be incredibly illuminating. I have always felt safe, well-informed, and excited by the somatic, anatomical, historical, cultural, and technical aspects to her classes. Recently I realized she is an incredible teacher for a variety of learning styles. I immediately wanted to bring a dear friend who has limited vision because her verbal instructions were precise, and her intuitive ability to adjust classes for a variety of needs was impressive. Abigail actively seeks out learning to create a physically and emotionally safe environment for her students, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone!

This makes her incredibly capable of helping students of any ability to learn and grow more proficient! Her technical ability is amazing, as is her ability to convey information. Not to mention she is fantastic as a person - she genuinely cares about her students. 10/10 look no further!
Nov 10, 2021 · Shari LI've been working with Abigail for a few years now with my dance needs and helping me level up in various ways and first and foremost she has always been incredibly kind even when I've been a bit down about my dance. She's so very thoughtful, detail oriented and really geeks out over nerdy dance stuff which I LOVE. She gets into technical body work stuff (if you're in to that- 10/10 recommend) but also is an accomplished writer, historian and educator so if you need help with cultural context and history- she's your teacher!I always walk away from weekly classes feeling challenged and inspired and private lessons feeling motivated and supported in my dance studies- if you need some guidance or a little help on something that's been sticking for you in your dance path- pop into classes or sign up for a private lesson- I guarantee you won't regret it.
