Village Dance Arts Reviews
The owner of the studio was extremely rude and slammed the door on my father and sister for asking for class information, advising them to check online. They have trouble navigating online websites and have called for information too only to receive conflicting answers. My sister has taken dance classes here before, she shouldn't have experienced being treated so rudely, she was a student here at the Village Dance Arts and she should have been treated with consideration and respect like any other student should. We've decided to take her for classes elsewhere. I advise others to do the same. Inaccessible dance school, unorganized, rude owner with no authentic compassion for the students or the parents who take their children here.
Jun 16, 2025 · Marina FraijoCharming dance studio at the Claremont Village with excellent ballet teacher. My 6 year old girls is learning the ballet technique and moves. She enjoys her class. She has being inspired to become a Ballerina!
Jul 17, 2021 · Lilia CortesMy 7yr old daughter has been taking ballet lessons in this studio since Spring & she loves it! The intro to ballet teacher Mrs. Bow is amazing with the kids & is very dedicated to her craft. She’s patient, sweet, kind, funny, & an outstanding dancer. She makes dance classes so fun for the kids & doesn’t push them for perfection. It’s such a light and airy vibe with her all the time. I’ve only met her & the owner of the studio, & I am very pleased with our experience so far.
Sep 20, 2022 · Vanessa MartinezLOVE Village Dance Arts. they are amazing with all ages and are an experienced and talented group of instructors. I'd not have my kids go anywhere else. This is not a competition dance school - thankfully! It focuses on each individual's strength and supports each dancer beautifully. They offer tap (young people and adults), ballet, including Mommy and Me (Parent and Me, and adult classes) jazz, hip hop, modern, tumbling and taiko drumming! They also are one of the few fully accredited dance schools that follow the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum, which is excellent. One thing - the picture shown is NOT the dance studio :) Its to the left of the picture, where one studio is located, but the office and the other studio are to the right and up the ally, at 111 Harvard Place, Claremont, CA 91711 :)
