We enrolled our daughter in this school as a two year old because she loved to dance. The money grubbing nature of the business (charging crazy prices for the right to rice in the parade floats, forced outfits that are incredibly overpriced, etc), especially for a 2 year old, was bothersome initial. On top of that, they wouldn't allow a parent in the classroom because my daughter is still young and a little timid. They decided this policy was in effect in the middle of the session. We quit as a result of this and they refused to refund any money (not surprising, considered the aforementioned tactics). We have now enrolled her in another class in high point that is easily more professional, accepting, and has less of a "dance moms" kind of vibe. I'm glad she isn't a part of The Dance Shop any longer. - Cavefolds
