The Dance Authority Reviews
I have been nothing but impressed with TDA. They run a tight ship and demand perfection, but that’s what I love the most. They ask a lot of the kids and it helps teach them a lot of great qualities and paying close attention to every detail. Their staff is amazing and seeing the kids doing something they love is amazing. I highly recommend TDA, you will not be disappointed. My daughter has made amazing friendships and the staff has been great mentors to help her grow into a young woman. Thank you for all you do. From a proud dance dad!!
Apr 01, 2021 · Brent DierkingI have been a competitive dancer at TDA for eight years now and it is the best place to send a child to dance! You learn not only how to become a beautiful dancer, but important life lessons that I know I will never forget. Mindy has been my dance teacher since the start and she has helped shape me into the person I have become today and I am so grateful not only to her, but to everybody else at the studio. It is a great place to grow up and get prepared to go out into the real world. You are taught to work hard and fight for what you want. Dancers are not just given things they earn them. TDA is my favorite place in the world and I know it is for every other dancer there as well.
Nov 01, 2015 · Lex NovacekI danced at TDA for 13+ years. The original owners were moving and we were all fearful that the studio would be under completely new management and ultimately go down hill. Then Mindy swooped in and saved the day, and completely revamped the studio. TDA was a place for me to go and escape from all the problems and frustrations of my day, and I know it is a safe comforting place for all of the girls and boys that are lucky enough to take classes there. Mindy and the rest of the TDA family helped shape me into the woman I am today, and to say graduating and leaving the studio was the hardest thing I've had to do would be an understatement. I envy the kids who still get to dance here and would go back in a heart beat!
Nov 01, 2015 · claire vI am a "dance dad". I enjoy watching my daughter's face light up when she is getting ready to go to dance class and then I get the pleasure of watching her go over everything she has learned from her time in class. I am not a dancer and do not claim to be one either. I have two older boys who play baseball, football, wrestle and throw shot put in their school. I coach them in almost all of their sports but, again, have no dance background to fall back on to help her. Therefore, I have to rely on the teachers and expertise of The Dance Authority. Boys are taught to deal with their frustrations and leave it on the field. Dancers are a special group. They are tough, strong, disciplined, dedicated and emotional; always striving to be the best they can be. The owner is one of the choreographer/coaches and her daughter is one of the dancers. NEVER ONCE have I EVER felt she was showcasing her daughter over anyone else's or mine. She holds her daughter more accountable, as does ANY coach, to a higher standard and expects more from her. This is not favoritism or showcasing! It is coaching! I am proud of The Dance Authority and what they have done for the self-confidence and self-motivation she has developed in the 4 years at the studio. The internal drive she has developed shows in her school work, her friend relationships and in almost every interpersonal skill she has. Keep up the great work! I can't thank you enough for all you have done for my daughter.
