This school as a whole is very disorganized. Ms. Regina that sits at the front desk is a very nice person and has great communication. Ms. Maria is a spectacular teacher who cares very much about all her students. They only have two studios for ballet, and one studio gets so crammed the girls barely have any room for big movements. Last year, they were all over crowded on bar and my daughter non stop got kicked and hit. They definitely could use some expansion for the back studio. There are two teachers teaching my daughters level. They both teach the same movements different ways so there is confusion there as well. There is a real lack of accountability from the owner. Very unprofessional childish behavior from the owner herself. I expressed deep concern over my daughters shoes and was laughed at by the owner Paula in front of a waiting room of people. The shoes are brand new, and a teacher volunteered herself to sew in the ribbons on my daughters shoes. To my surprise, she made a complete mess out of my daughters new shoes. When I expressed how much I disliked the way they turned out, she told me that's just how they are and laughed multiple times. I assume this is her not wanting to take responsibility to replace the shoes. She did not apologize. Never offered to make it right. Just talked about how the teacher is a professional dancer and offered to show me pictures of her dancing. This does not mean she knows how to sew, which she clearly does not. There are strings hanging all over the shoes and random holes poked through the satin. Safety is also a concern for me. My daughter did a play back in June. All parents and volunteers were told no one would be allowed backstage unless you were volunteering, but they let teenage boys backstage, and they harassed my child and another child and threatened to assault them and there was never a resolution or confirmation about the other party. - Bianca Petrucci
