I am a beginning/intermediate-ish pole dancer from Ottawa Ohio. Summit City Pole, their instruction/instructors, and the students that come here are worth my travel time to Fort Wayne! They listen to requests of students, are professional and safe, and challenge you as an individual with a variety of modifications for tricks. I could go on…. If you are on the fence about checking out pole for the first time or as a new studio, this is your sign. I hope to see some new faces! You won’t regret it.Picture is me and the beautiful Danielle assisting my first outside leg hang!
Aug 07, 2024 · Brooke BrownI love this studio, the people instructing the classes, and the friends I’ve met because of taking classes here. The instructors are amazing women who will help modify things if need be, but will also be willing to push you if they see you are up for the challenge. They cultivate a safe space to allow you to be you as you learn how to build your confidence and strength on the pole and it has a way to flow over to other areas of your life. The women taking the classes have also been so encouraging along the way and I think it’s due in part to how accepting the instructors are. When I first thought about signing up, I was worried that everyone would be looking at me and judging me that I wasn’t on their level or able to move my body like them, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth! Everyone (students and instructors) are so encouraging and it truly is a safe place where woman are encouraging each other and helping each other not only in their pole journey but in life in general! Take the time and invest in you and sign up for a class. You won’t regret that you did!
Aug 06, 2024 · April CarsonAbsolutely love this place! The classes are challenging but the confidence you build taking these classes is amazing! As someone that is extremely hard on herself and struggles with body dysmorphia these classes have helped me look at myself in a different way. All the instructors create such a safe and comfortable space. I have not once felt judged or made to feel bad about myself her. Highly suggest taking these classes! You won’t be disappointed with any of the instructors either. All equal provide a great experience.
Aug 02, 2024 · Ashley KilgoreDanielle is an amazing person and instructor. She is always helping others grow in their own way. There is so much info and thought put into her class content as well as safety (both physically and mentally) as top priority. She, Leia, and all the instructors make sure that SCP is a safe space for learning, building friendships, being a community, and creative expressions in movement and dance. I highly recommend classes at SCP!
Aug 02, 2024 · Naomi KamikoThe instructors at this studio really care about the people learning here and it shows! It’s so much fun to be in class. I started out with minimal knowledge of tricks and such and within a short amount of time I was able to see how much I improved. I’m really happy I took the step to join. I would (and do) recommend this studio everytime.
