Studio 721 Introduce
Hello, Massachusetts locals! Are you searching for a unique and invigorating way to stay fit, express yourself through movement, or even prepare for that special first dance? Look no further than Studio 721, a dynamic fitness and dance studio nestled in the charming downtown of Buzzards Bay, MA. This studio isn't just about breaking a sweat; it's about igniting your passion, fostering creativity through movement, and building a supportive community where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their experience level.
Studio 721 was born from the vision of Julia Sykes, a professional dancer and educator, who recognized the need for high-quality, drop-in dance and dance-related fitness classes outside of Boston. Julia's passion for both expressive movement and holistic bodywork shines through in every aspect of the studio. Her aim is to create a space for "fun lovers, expressive movers, and imaginative thinkers," where individuals can feel inspired, accomplished, and invigorated after every class. The name "Studio 721" itself carries a touching personal history, honoring Julia's mother, Lisa Forlivesi Amaral, the original owner of the space, whose birthday was July 21st. This personal touch underscores the warm, community-focused ethos of the studio.
The studio has garnered enthusiastic praise from its clientele. One couple raved about their experience learning their first wedding dance, noting how "everything was broken down easy for us to learn" and how "super happy" they were on their wedding day that they took lessons. Another college student described Studio 721 as their "FAVORITE place to take drop in classes," highlighting its welcoming atmosphere where "every single class is open to all levels of dancers and everyone welcomes you into the studio with open arms." It's celebrated as a "safe space" for creative expression, making it a highly recommended spot for both fun exercise and unleashing one's inner dancer.
Studio 721 is conveniently located at 155 Main St Rear Unit, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532, USA. This prime location places it in the heart of downtown Buzzards Bay, a vibrant village within the town of Bourne. This makes it easily accessible for residents of Buzzards Bay and neighboring communities in the Upper Cape and South Coast regions of Massachusetts. Towns such as Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Wareham, and Marion will find the studio within a practical and easy commuting distance.

Jun 03, 2024 · Genny PaigeStudio 721 is my FAVORITE place to take drop in classes!! As a college student, it was hard to find an adult-level dance studio in the area where you can just dance to have fun, but then I found Studio 721!! I love how every single class is open to all levels of dancers and everyone welcomes you into the studio with open arms!! :) It is such a great environment because I know that it is a safe space for me to express myself creatively through dance!! I highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a fun way to exercise or unleash your inner dancer!!
Jan 24, 2023 · Lexi KThis review is long overdue. Studio 721 is one of the BEST dance studios I have ever been to! As a former high school and college dancer, this place had the exact vibe I was looking for given how difficult it can be to find good adult classes. The quality and caliber are great for those wanting to keep up with dance after years of training, yet classes are still easy to follow for newer dancers trying it out for the first time. Julia has created such a safe space to have fun, jam out, or try something totally new without fear of judgement. I would give 6 stars if I could! I am so grateful to have found this place in Buzzards Bay.
Jun 05, 2023 · Kathleen BarkatsThe best thing about Studio 721 is that the classes are small and you feel welcome - no matter your skill level. My daughter and I joined earlier this month and we are loving Gentle Morning Stretch Yoga - just my pace and Melissa is so calming. Started Pilates with Holly and really enjoy the challenge, looking forward to trying out her Barre class soon!
Jul 07, 2022 · Sandi AllenIf I could give this studio more than 5 stars I would! I have been looking for a place like this ever since moving on cape. I absolutely love being able to take a dance class with just adults in a non judgemental, safe, fun atmosphere. Every time I step into a class I forget about everything and just have fun! The owner, teachers and space are amazing! Oh and I love the sound system (especially for hip hop I feel like I'm In a club lol)
