Oct 23, 2024 · Milan HernandezPuahi’s put on an amazing performance at my daughter’s school. My daughter loved it and wanted to be like the dancers. She joined the studio and I could not have been more happy that she did. Everyone there treats each other as family. They learn dance, culture, and respect in a fun positive atmosphere. The older kids help with the younger kids and the families that go there are all amazing. She has had the opportunity to participate in a few events and they are very well organized and fun. So thankful we found this for our daughter.
Dec 16, 2023 · Robyn MorehouseI joined Puahi's when they offered free Zoom classes during the pandemic, and I couldn't have asked for a better school. They teach people of all ages the dance and cultures of Polynesia, especially Hawai'i and Tahiti. For hula in particular, you won't find another school for miles and miles that teaches hula kahiko (ancient hula) straight from the islands. Everyone works together with their individual talents to help the studio. It is a group of warm and welcoming people who are passionate about Polynesia.
Apr 17, 2023 · Cristina ProdigalidadYou really feel the Aloha as you enter the studio. I have been with Puahis 17 years my kids and now my granddaughter have danced here. I have traveled with this group and competed several times. I am forever a student here learning enjoying every moment. Its such a great place to bring the family to learn about culture, dance, drumming, and aloha. I am now learning to drum so always something fun and exciting to look forward to at Puahi’s.
