For families in Marietta, Georgia, and across Cobb County, Prodigy Performing Arts is truly an exceptional and highly recommended choice for nurturing young talent. It’s clear from the heartfelt testimonials of local parents that this studio offers far more than just dance or acting lessons; it provides a comprehensive and deeply enriching experience that fosters both artistic skill and personal growth. As one parent beautifully put it, their son "really enjoyed working with Mrs. Jodi in her musical theatre troupe’s production of Legally Blonde," emphasizing that Mrs. Jodi "provides top-tier training while keeping a compassionate and fun environment." This perfect blend of professional instruction and a supportive atmosphere is exactly what local parents seek for their children. The consistent praise for the show director, Talia, further underscores the quality and dedication of the entire team.
Another glowing review highlights Prodigy as a "beautiful studio where students of all ages can grow in their talents and receive high quality training in dance and performing arts, in a loving and fun environment." This sentiment of a "loving and fun environment" is echoed time and again, which is crucial for keeping children engaged and enthusiastic, especially when compared to other activities where interest might wane. The profound impact on a child’s confidence and stage presence is particularly remarkable. One parent detailed their daughter's "astronomical" growth in these areas, transforming from a "puppy in 101 Dalmatians Jr. to a villainous eel in Little Mermaid Jr." This transformative journey speaks volumes about the effective and inspiring teaching methods at Prodigy.
The proactive community engagement by owner Jodi Kempany, who "goes out into the community and meets students where they are" through school clubs, adds another layer of suitability for local families, making quality arts education even more accessible. The fact that a daughter, after dancing at a different studio, went through an entire dance season at Prodigy "without any push back" from her parents is a powerful endorsement of the positive experience. Moreover, the emphasis on culminating performances at camps and the genuine enjoyment children derive from every day spent with Prodigy truly makes it an invaluable resource for young Georgians. If your goal is for your child to "discover talents, make memories, and have fun" while receiving excellent training, Prodigy Performing Arts is undoubtedly the ideal local choice.

Mrs. Jodi provides top-tier training while keeping a compassionate and fun environment. The show director, Talia, was also an amazing director and her and Jodi executed the show very well.Prodigy is a beautiful studio where students of all ages can grow in their talents and receive high quality training in dance and performing arts, in a loving and fun environment. I am so thankful to have found such a great studio for my son, and would highly recommend Prodigy to anyone.
Jul 25, 2023 · Brooke H.Our daughter began participating with Prodigy Performing Arts through the musical theater program. Since her first show in summer 2021, I've seen her grow from a puppy in 101 Dalmatians Jr. to a villainous eel in Little Mermaid Jr. During those years, her confidence and stage presence have grown astronomically. After initially only participating in musical theater, our daughter received further exposure to Prodigy through extra-curricular clubs at her school. That's because Prodigy's owner Jodi Kempany goes out into the community and meets students where they are. That being said, she also greatly utilizes her studio space that has been renovated in the past couple of years. This past school year, our daughter began attending dance and acrotumbling classes on Saturdays. She had danced at a different studio for the past few years, but this was the first time we went through a whole dance season without any push back from our daughter.During school breaks, including the summer, our daughter has attended several camps at Prodigy. Virtually every one includes a special program on the final day for the parents, and our daughter seems to have mastered a new skill for every camp she attends. At the end of the day, the most important thing to us is our daughter's happiness, and she genuinely enjoys every day spent with Jodi Kempany and Prodigy Performing Arts.
Jun 17, 2024 · Nicholas SullivanMy daughter has done multiple musical theatre shows here. With musical theatre she has learned to grow in confidence and she has made so many wonderful friends. She started dancing with Prodigy this fall and she absolutely loves it. She has a lot of fun dancing in this studio and has learned how to do splits and is working on her heel stretch.During the summer she has attended many summer camps and had a great time.Ms. Jodi is a hard worker and she is dedicated dance teacher. She works really hard to make sure your child gets a chance to shine.
Apr 08, 2024 · Rebecca GrahamMy son always looks forward to practice. I have watched his confidence grow more and more throughout the several years he's been involved with the P.Performing arts program. It's obvious Ms Jodi really cares for each of the kids, and the project as a whole. She always seems to go the extra mile, to try to help the kids not only have a great time, but also learn to develop both on an individual level, and as a group. This has been a very positive influence on my son's life. Special thanks to Ms Jodi, and the performing arts team!
Mar 07, 2023 · John SextonThis is my daughter’s fifth year at Prodigy Performing Arts. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics and attends classes twice a week. My daughter loves her dance classes and I attribute so much of that to Ms. Jody. She is a fantastic teacher. In addition to her classes, she’s offered various day camps and enrichment programs during school breaks and summer. To anyone looking for a studio with small classes, even Covid safe in these times, I highly recommend reaching out to Ms. Jody!
