Premier Dance of Ocala Reviews
We have been at PDO since 2019 when my kiddo started in Sam’s mommy and me class. She has grown so much over the years due to the positive interactions with the teachers in her classes as well as gained some amazing friendships along the way. My kiddo has now joined the Premier Team and is loving every minute of it!

PDO is an amazing place to dance, it has a friendly, non-toxic environment. This studio has become like a second home to me, there are always students and teachers who will listen to you, and be there for you. For me Premier Dance of Ocala is the perfect place, and I know that other people feel the same way. The teachers are amazing and want to see you excel and progress in something that you love, they are always cheering us on. The students also want to see you progress, so they will help you constantly until you are comfortable with whatever you are trying to do. I look up to so many of the girls and the teachers. PDO has given me the chance to do so many things that I wouldn’t have been able to do without attending this dance studio.
Jun 24, 2024 · Shyanne GravelyMy daughter had been dancing here the last few years. She decided she was going to change studios to do more ballet- which this studio is not ballet focused. Because of that the owner punished the girls - including the girls on her own team staying- she canceled nationals AFTER taking payment and hyping them up for it. Having them practice and excited to preform their routines. Instead by email canceled nationals as “the teachers did not want to drag this year on another month” even though the commitment was through July- when nationals was to happen. The owner has yet paid our money back and will not respond to inquires regarding my money. I do not recommend this studio- on top of that there’s a lot of injuries. Kids teaching kids. The place is dirty. And the owners do not care
Jun 11, 2024 · Janet BuehreI do not recommend Premier Dance Of Ocala because, I have had a bad experience with one teacher this past year. She has made me feel like family for nine years and has always said this will always be your home but when you least expect it she will turn around and stab you in the back. She has canceled nationals for her competition team because she wanted to say goodbye but she didn’t just cancel it for the kids that are leaving her but she also canceled it for the people that are being loyal and staying at her dance studio. She used me and all my best friends for her recital and we all know it. She couldn’t expect that I was leaving her and she couldn’t just be happy for me, my sister, and all of my best friends. This is just what I have to say but this is also what I have experienced. So I don’t recommend Premier Dance Of Ocala.
Jun 10, 2024 · emmalynn oakesBefore reading this review, I would like readers to know that I completely understand and acknowledge that everyone has their own personal experiences with everything in life. However, it has come to my attention that some of these reviews are sharing false information that should not be spread.I have been dancing at PDO for many years now and it is somewhere I definitely consider my second home. Most of these one star reviews mention the owner cancelling nationals and "backstabbing" not only the girls leaving but also the ones staying on the competition team. The owners decision to cancel nationals most certainly did not have the intent to "backstab" the dancers. For whatever reason it was to cancel nationals, it does not matter. However, there were multiple people on the team that were actively dancing and fully committed to other studios before the competition season had even ended. It was not realistic for the owner, teachers, and dancers to waste their time training dances to go to nationals when there were others not 100% committed to the team.Another comment that has been brought to my attention is the mention of "consistent injuries" among the dancers. In reality, injuries happen everywhere. All of the teachers and staff at the studio prevent injuries from happening to their full extent. However, out of all places, a dance studio will not be injury free. In general, accidents happen all the time.Overall, I understand if not everyone has a 5 star experience with a place they visit. However, there should be no reason why as an adult or even a child, you feel the need to spread false information about anything.Premier Dance of Ocala is a great, clean studio that focuses on multiple genres of dance and really makes you feel at home.
