Premier Dance Center Reviews
I do not recommend all they do is bullies and the managers will the owners they're hungry for money and they do not like you and they will bully you I would not go there I would go to hybrid arts dance academy they are so nice and they will not bully you
May 02, 2025 · Jrea'ah PirlThe owners and office manager of Premier Dance Center are three of the most unprofessional, uneducated, unethical, incompetent, money hungry, rude, two-faced people in the business. They do not respect or even care about you or your children. My child was on the competition team for 6 years and one of the top dancers at the studio. Rachel told my then 10 year old child that she was fat and could not have a jazz solo the following year because she was out of breath during the routine. In my opinion, it was a sick and twisted comment from Rachel with the intent to psychologically damage my child's self-esteem. As an adult and then trusted teacher, she should not be offering negative body image comments to my child, let along looking at her body that closely. She should have been motivating and building confidence in her, not promoting negative thoughts. If she wanted my daughter to do a different solo or not participate in a solo the next year, that was fine, but she should have had enough decency and respect for the person making payments and allowing her business to thrive, to voice her concerns with me and not my child. No one talks to my children in that manner. My child knows better than to believe the opinions of people who should probably lay off the fast food themselves. I raised her to value herself and support others, not demean them. Rachel then begged us to stay in dance after I told her numerous times that my daughter chose softball over dance.Lori, the office manager and probably rudest of the three, can't even keep track of payments made and credits given for dance competitions. She did not apply a check, which was cashed, and two cash payments to my daughter's account and then proceeded to hound me about the account being past due. My daughter should have a credit in her PDC account if that lazy, incompetent excuse for an office manager did her job correctly. After, making this mistake, which they still will not admit to, Rachel, Kayley, and Lori told people inside and outside of the studio that I have a past due account and refuse to pay them. Confidentiality and professionalism, in regard to accounts, does not exist at this studio.I advise anyone who values their daughter's self-esteem and self-worth, to find a studio where they promote a positive self-image, and where they can be encouraged instead of treated like unpaid robots, who are only there to make Rachel and Kayley look good to the public and win dance competitions. They are not good people and they do not treat children with respect. There were several occasions backstage at competitions where Rachel and Kayley yelled at the girls and were downright rude. For anyone who chooses to continue to attend classes at this studio, I advise you to keep track of every cent paid and NEVER give them cash. Start questioning everything, such as why they charge such a large markup on costumes and competitions? There is a reason you only get a bill from the studio, and you never see an invoice from a competition. It is also unethical for the studio to keep a percentage of your fundraising money, as they are a for profit business. They make enough money from monthly dance tuition, solo fees, mandatory classes for competition members, mandatory summer classes for competition members, and recital fees, not to mention everything else they send an invoice for is marked up.When you pay for a service, like dance, they work for you, not the other way around. Start treating them like the employees they are. They are hired to teach dance, not to damage your children. I hope this review reaches the people who need it most. If it saves just one child from their sick unwanted body judgement, then it was worth the time and effort.
