We moved to El Dorado Hills 8 years ago when our daughters were 5 and 7. One of the first things that we did was find a dance studio for them to continue their training. We are grateful to have found Miss Pam and her studio. Our youngest is still there. In addition to my wife and I, Miss Pam, Miss Zara and others at the studio, including her friends and mentors, have done as much or more than anyone to shape her into the confident person that she is, both on and off the dance floor. We will always be grateful. We highly recommend Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet.Nutcracker photo credits: Anne Hansen - ArtMyVacation

Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet Introduce

Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet stands as a distinguished institution in El Dorado Hills, California, dedicated to the art and preservation of classical ballet. Founded by Miss Pamela Hayes, an artistic director with over 25 years of professional experience, the academy has become a beacon of excellence for aspiring dancers in the Sacramento metropolitan area and beyond. At its core, Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet is committed to providing rigorous, technically sound training based on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, one of the largest and most respected ballet teaching organizations in the world. This approach emphasizes correct anatomical placement and strong technique, laying a foundation that allows for greater artistic freedom and a lifetime of dancing, while minimizing the risk of injuries that often cut short young dancers' dreams.

More than just a dance studio, Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet cultivates a nurturing and supportive environment where students not only develop their physical prowess but also grow into confident, disciplined individuals. The philosophy extends to fostering a deep appreciation for classical ballet, bringing its beauty and tradition to the local community through both training and captivating performances. The academy has a proud history of helping its students achieve remarkable success, with many going on to professional careers in renowned ballet companies, a testament to the quality and dedication of its instruction. The impact of Miss Pam and her team goes beyond the dance floor, shaping individuals into well-rounded, confident people.

The heartfelt testimonials from families and dancers underscore the profound influence Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet has on its students. As one parent beautifully articulated, "We moved to El Dorado Hills 8 years ago when our daughters were 5 and 7. We highly recommend Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet." Another long-term student, a member of the company, shared, "I am a member of the company at Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet and have danced at this studio for about 10 years at this studio. It is my home away from home and like my second family. Ms. Pam is a wonderful teacher who has danced professionally and now teaches classical ballet from her training with the Royal Ballet in England. Her training is detailed, customized for each dancer’s body type, and she really cares about her students development. Her daughter, Zara is also one of the most loving and caring teachers with a great eye for correcting details to elevate a dancer to become the best version of themselves. I highly recommend training at this school in order to receive a solid foundation in ballet. Many of Ms. Pam’s students have gone on to have professional careers in ballet. I personally have so many fond memories of participating in Ms. Pam’s performances such as The Nutcracker at the Harris Center. Last year she got us through the whole production beautifully. I cannot wait to participate in The Nutcracker 2022 with the live symphony again. They are fabulous. Covid19 has been difficult for dancers everywhere and to be able to perform again means so much more to me personally this year than ever before. I highly recommend this performance and hope everyone near and far comes to see us dance from our hearts." These powerful endorsements highlight the academy's commitment to individual development, technical excellence, and the creation of a supportive, family-like community.
