Apr 25, 2025 · ShantelFriday night’s (10/22/21) presentation of Alice in Wonderland was a thoroughly exhilarating experience! What a treasure the OKC Ballet is for our community. The dancing was superb and the music top notch. Additionally my physical perspective being from box seating enabled me to see back stage, have a more intimate interaction with props and a perspective on lighting that was possibly enhanced beyond what others may have seen. The art of coordination that must go into every production was fascinating to observe. I found the staging and props particularly intriguing. Not only were they beautiful and extremely creative, they completely elevated the articulation of the story. Every minute detail was expertly planned and executed. The “show” was lovely and the talent, in every way, exceptional. I found “ART” in the entire, overarching weaving of complex details into a spectacular production of both the seen and unseen. My senses have been opened to the ART of the ARTS in an entirely new way. Thank you to all involved as you have created a forever fan!Bravo!!!!!Seth KingOklahoma City

Oct 22, 2021 · Lexie PetersonIf you haven't bought tickets for Alice in Wonderland, now is your chance to experience a delightful story with gorgeous costumes, live philharmonic music, entertaining special effects including flying, and the top-notch performance by a diverse company of dancers whose artistry, athleticism and technique are a joy to watch. The live Orchestra is conducted by the composer of the music for this ballet. I won't spoil the show, but the puppetry especially at the end is the icing on a delicious story cake. The costume design is a world class visual feast.Come see contemporary ballet at its finest!
