I had a visit recently with my child to learn more about dancing. I believe the man who is Mrs Wei, the owner's husband definitely had very unfriendly attitude. He acted and responded in a different manor according to what language people came in to acquire information. I hope they don't treat students differently based on colors and what dialect they speak or they just don't understand other language and dialect. To me their attitude seems like they do not care about any new students because they think San Leandro Asian studio like theirs is the only place for parents to send their children there. I would not recommend anyone i know to learn arts here. - Wesley Wong

Founded in 2007 by Ms. Shiang-Fen Wei, an esteemed artist with over 30 years of teaching experience and a graduate of the “National Taiwan Academy of Arts,” this academy is a testament to a family legacy in dance education spanning over 60 years. Ms. Wei’s vision, rooted in the concepts of "Honesty, Kindness, and Beauty," aims to provide a unique learning environment where students can explore Asian cultural heritage through the expressive medium of dance. It’s an approach that promises an "eye-opening experience and endless opportunities" for its students. It's important for any local considering joining to be aware of this feedback and to approach with clear communication about their needs and expectations, ensuring a positive experience from the outset. The core dedication to the art form and cultural preservation, however, remains central to the academy's offerings, providing a unique specialization in the region that is otherwise difficult to find.
