Being a professional dancer, I’m always looking to explore new modalities of movement to not only improve my technique but also insure the longevity of my career. And even from just once a week 60min Pilates sessions with Julia I’ve already seen big changes in my personal strength and overall body awareness in and out of the studio. She is an extremely knowledgeable instructor and her passion for her work is infectious. She’ll kick your butt in the best way possible. Super excited for more!!

I enjoy her bright energy, ability to meet her clients’ needs and to also modify some moves for those of us with some mobility issues as needed. I recently started Reformer sessions too and have enjoyed the 1:1 time working on some of my strength and agility goals. In addition to attending classes or sessions a few times weekly, my 17 year old daughter also enjoys coming to Julia’s studio too and is welcomed and challenged as a young athlete and dancer. We continue to look forward to growing in strength, focus, agility and mobility all with a welcoming smile and sometimes a good giggle with Julia at Making Moves.
