Los Angeles Ballet Academy Reviews
Our family (3 kids currently) have been at the studio for several years now. I first came because this studio had a reputation in the arts world for being the best ballet studio in west Los Angeles. They also had a boys program at the time with scholarships. We have stayed because what I heard was true and I saw for myself how amazing the teachers are. The thing that I think is the most unique, however, is the spirt of kindness that accompanies the great level of expertise. Students here are accepting of others and there is more diversity here than in most high level studios. The new directors, Ms. Tracey and Ms. Gina are devoted to the students, show such great love of ballet and teaching. I hope that the boys program will have the enrollment to come back, but even without it I wouldn't think of having my children anywhere else.Note: This is an academy which means it is a year long program. It is not a studio where you can just add and drop into classes at will. They teach the Royal Ballet curriculum and have international exams for the higher levels.Also- One of the other reviews who gave a low rating, I think is commenting on another studio as the people they reference haven't been with the studio.

Mar 13, 2019 · Priscilla BeautyAfter things started opening up after COVID and when I felt a bit safer to go back to class the person at the front desk said she wouldn’t take the class card I had bought previous to COVID. I still have 5 classes left (that would be $20 per class now =$100.After dealing with that issue and she not being helpful or even polite I finally managed to use my card. After using it around a couple of times she told me she wasn’t going to take my class card anymore because the owners said so. I’m almost sure the owners are not even aware about this problem. She is very unprofessional and disrespectful towards students and teachers. I saw her treat other including teachers in a very poor manner. Controlling and mean. Also, no one ever picks up the phone (which is her duty). I even mentioned to her I’m recuperating from a knee injury and I want to start class again. As a ballerina that has been a very traumatic and painful experience. The receptionist couldn’t care less and still wouldn’t take my class card that I had paid already. She said there my will no longer be accepting them. I never received ANY notification about this. As a company they have to inform students/clients about the changes and accept what the already sold to me.If the owners get to read this I hope you can get in touch with me so I can finally finish using my class card. The receptionist refuses to give me an email besides hers. I have no way to reach out to management or owners.Classes where so much better when Roxana was there.
Mar 01, 2022 · Dominika van SantenFor more than five years, the instructors and staff at this Studio have consistently provided quality instruction and support for our son's pursuit of dance. It is unfortunate that a few disgruntled people can have a disproportionate impact on the rating of a studio that has benefited hundreds of young people for many years.
