Nov 30, 2024 · Shawn GongI took a beginner's ballet and flexibility class. I have a background in hip hop and Bachata. It was a really fun class and I learned a lot. Since I was in a more advanced class (having no prior experience), the students were super nice and accommodated me.The flexibility class was awesome. As a weightlifter, I've been struggling with tight hamstrings. After 1 class I noticed my deadlifts were easier, and I felt safer doing heavy lifts.
Feb 12, 2025 · Daniel WuJust celebrated my first year of adult ballet thanks to LA Acro Dance. The whole team is super kind and helpful for a non-dancer brain. My class mates are equally as kind and humorous. (We have a good time)Conditioning and flexibility is set to where each student is at and is a great way to get out of ones head and focus on your body.Free street parking in the neighborhood nearby as well as meter parking in front.Thank you to the whole crew.
Feb 06, 2024 · Kenna StevensI came to the Los Angeles AcroDance Academy in hopes of bettering my dance technique and learning acrobatics and contortion, and I found a wonderful dance family along with my hopes. As students and dancers, we want to learn and get better, and I personally always held myself back because I feared to make mistakes or mess up. Here, I am surrounded by people who not only push me to be better, but by people who will always support me and encourage me to try even if I mess up because we are there to learn. Dancers here learn discipline, respect, courage, and kindness surrounded by teachers who will cheer you on always, and celebrate your victories along with you, as well as guide you when you fall.
