This center serves as a vital bridge to understanding and appreciating rich cultural heritage, primarily focusing on Mexican traditions, while also offering a range of activities that appeal to a broad audience.
KINGS CULTURAL CENTER, operating under the umbrella of Kings Regional Traditional Folk Arts, began with humble roots in 1995 as Ballet Folklorico Sol del Valle, a children's Mexican folkloric dance ensemble operating out of a garage. It has since blossomed into a significant 2,500 square foot facility, embodying its mission to promote artistic programs and instill cultural pride in the youth of Kings and Fresno Counties. As one delighted parent shared, their daughter has been immersed in folkloric dance since age five, now at twelve, highlighting the center's long-standing impact and commitment. KINGS CULTURAL CENTER Reviews
We love this place. My daughter has been in folkloric dance since she was five she's 12 now. The teachers and staff are amazing. They teach everything from folkloric to mariachi to Zumba classes. They have a huge day of the dead celebration to close out their dance season every year and have multiple performances throughout the year. You can hire the students to dance and perform at your events also.
Aug 08, 2019 · Dee TrejoHi there you recommended their day of the Dead event. Please contact the board members if you have any questions also I would recommend them to do a Day of Independence for Hispanic Heritage month on September events similar to what they do.
Oct 27, 2024 · TheBecerra131 becerraI love all the performances these groups has all over, however, at the begging of 2020, I signed my child for some classes, he was able to attend only two of the secciones before they closed due to the pandemic. When pandemic ended I tried to contact them several times to ask them if they will make a partial refund or will honor the payment and will continue with the classes? Til this day not one has contacted me with an answer

Apr 20, 2022 · Patti HernandezWe love Kings Cultural Center. They have folklorico dance classes for kids 5 and up. Not only do the kids get to learn about Mexican culture and different regional dances and have fun, they also gain more self confidence. Everyone from the family who owns and runs the center, to the instructors are friendly and helpful. The instructor is super patient and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. KCC is a performing and cultural arts gem in our community. If you’ve been thinking about checking it out and signing your kids up, GO!!
