When I found the school I was excited for my second grader to learn Hawaiian culture and dance. Her first day there she was just thrown in with no instructionsThe teacher asked several times if everyone knew certain moves. Everyone raised their hand but my daughter. She replied ok good and moved on completely ignoring her. Even had them do a dance everyone knew while the teacher stood on the side and just watched. When I approached her at the end of class to voice my concern that she received no correction or instructions. She told me that if I didn't like it I could look elsewhere. That was how she taught her classes. - Johanna Mendivil
