And going there has made me more SANE! :) Seriously though, it is a great workout, with an amazing instructor (Chris) and a fantastic group of women! The classes are M-F from 9:15 to 10:15am and then stretching or core for an additional 20 mins if you would like. (There is also a Saturday class I haven't been to that is supposed to be great.) It is super convenient and right off the freeway at Reyes Adobe in Agoura. This is not a "dance" class - it is more of a mixture of strength training and aerobics with dance-y type moves - but there are no big dance routines, etc. There are a wide range of ages - 30-70. And a wide range of athleticism (from mild movements to women definitely sweating and getting a true, hard-core workout). Tuesdays are the most intense days - a longer workout with 45 mins of strength training and then 45 minutes of aerobic type exercises. Wednesday and Friday are the most "dance-y" (but again, for those of you that dance - this is NOT a "dance" class). And the best part is everyone is so friendly and accepting of new people. Sometimes they even get together for coffee or have potlucks - in other words, it is not just a workout - it is a place to get rid of stress, put a smile on your face, feel good and make new friends.
