May 13, 2023 · Ala ŁaszczI’ve been a dancer with JFIDA for almost 2 years now. I have never felt more supported in achieving my personal dance goals than I have since I started with the studio. The teachers and dancers are some of the kindest, supportive, and genuine souls I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The atmosphere at JFIDA is so warm and positive that I also started bringing my preteen niece to classes, and the classes have been the highlights of her week for the last year and a half, and she loves to show off what she’s learned during competitions.Jackie and Cara are extremely motivated and knowledgeable teachers who teach by example and truly have a plan to help all of their students succeed, no matter their personal goals.
May 13, 2023 · Kathryn CookeWe love this dance studio and teachers Jackie and Cara! We started not knowing much about Irish dance at all, and everyone is so kind and welcoming. We love it!
Nov 19, 2024 · Liana ChenI discovered JFIDA back in 2019, and I couldn't imagine dancing anywhere else. Jackie and Cara are both phenomenal teachers but they're even better humans. Classes strike that perfect balance of flexibility and challenge. They're oriented to your individual goals, while frankly just being a lot of fun. I've never laughed so much and then turned around and learned so much at the same time. Whether you're just looking to build strength and stamina or if you're working towards worlds, they've got you covered. And even though there's zero pressure to compete (or do shows, or do anything other than show up, be kind, and try your best), if you do compete, you feel like you have the whole school in your corner. The community at JFIDA is really second to none - from celebrations post oireachtas to tie dye parties in the park - Jackie has created something really special in South San Francisco. JFIDA is really everything you could ask for!!
