Irish Dance Center Reviews
The Irish Dance Center is an absolute gem! There’s so much warmth there and it’s such a welcoming school and community. The expertise and vast experience of the instructors shines in the way the classes feel challenging yet still accessible. It’s an amazing workout for the mind and the body, thank you IDC!
Jun 25, 2025 · Rosalyn NaskyI am a new student in the Adult Irish Dance Class, and have been incredibly impressed by the the skill, knowledge, and commitment of the instructors. They are very positive and encourage you every step of the way as you learn. They also do a great job teaching both the beginners and more advanced students. I live in San Antonio and love their class here on Tuesday nights at the Premier Ballet Academy in Stone Oak. It is so much fun!
Jan 22, 2020 · Laura Hacker-BrownI started dancing at this studio last year and Emir and Doireann are fantastic teachers. Their dedication to the craft of Irish dancing is amazing. Not only that, they are so patient and kind with the adult classes. It can be hard as an adult to try new things but I’ve had a blast learning how to Irish dance. It’s also nice to have a community! Highly recommend.
Jun 29, 2024 · Elyse ZimmerVery unprofessional organization. Severe lack of communication between the instructor and the parents. Constant class cancelations for no valid reasons. Yelling and bulling are acceptable forms of "discipline".
Feb 22, 2025 · V. C.I have been a dancer with the Irish Dance Center for over 10 years. The IDC is truly like my second family-- the dancers and parents support each other, laugh and learn together, and love sharing what we do with others. We are blessed to have an amazing teacher, Eimir Ni Mhaoileidigh, a former World Champion, All Ireland Champion, and overall Irish cultural treasure. She brings out the best in her dancers, teaching them good sportsmanship and responsibility as well as how to perform and compete. My own little girl started dancing with Ms. Eimir when she turned four, and there is no one I would trust more to teach her. Whether you want to dance for fun, perform on stage, or compete at the highest levels, you are welcome at the Irish Dance Center!
