I Am Phresh Reviews
I wanted to try again, but honestly one experience with them over the phone left a bitter impression. I have taken a few classes here before at the beginner level as an adult and they were good, don't get me wrong. But in terms of keeping updated information, I don't know if they have improved or not. My hope is that they do, given that they have a calendar of classes on their website now. Let me explain...One time years ago, I dropped by for a class that was listed as scheduled on their website. When I got there, the facility was closed. I called and the man on the line started lecturing me about how websites cannot be updated in real time. He made it seem as if it were my fault for relying on their website's information. By the way, I was holding back, but I have managed a few websites myself. The person who manages a website can update them whenever, literally in minutes for simply designed websites for some short text. Maybe the person managing their website is too busy, okay, fine. Then practically speaking, why do you even have schedules on your website if you cannot keep them up-to-date? If you state over the phone that your most up-to-date schedules are on Instagram, the content on your website can say something like, "Check out our new schedules posted regularly on Instagram!" Why would you post for example that you have classes on Fridays on your website, knowing well that this could change in a few weeks and could confuse potential visitors? Annoying, lol. It's better not to have a website for your business then if you can't maintain it properly.Besides that, yeah, I did find the classes beginner-friendly. I'm willing to try again, but don't be so quick to blame your customers for information that you put out. I don't know if the person over the phone was an instructor or customer service or what, but hopefully whoever is there now can be more considerate.
Feb 01, 2025 · Nessy MMy daughter has been attending her Hip-Hop dance classes with this company for about a year now. Overall the faculty is outstanding. The other parents are friendly and welcoming. Her teachers is attentive, supportive and will develop your child's dancing skills to transform into greatness. The teachers encourage each other as well as the students to practice their craft as well as give challenges. The distance is worth the drive each week and a smile on my daughter face. I wouldn't change it for the world. This studio is my daughter dance family. Why not train with the greats if your trying to be a great dancer I AM Phresh is the perfect choice.
Mar 26, 2016 · Anna-kay MurrayMy daughter has been apart of this organization since she was 7 and I can tell you it is top notch. The facilities is state of the art … and the dance instructors are truly professional. My daughter came there as a novice dancer and now she is one of the best in the city thanks to “Smart Mark” and “Queen Phresh”
Dec 06, 2021 · Vincent BeyThey claim that some of their programs are pre-professional. However, they offer no pre-professional opportunities, and when the kids find said opportunities on their own, there is no support. Both my daughter and my son attended the Hip Hop program, and were quickly invited to join the company's dance crew (increase in tuition). When my daughter was recently invited to apply for a performing arts program in Virginia Beach, I immediately went to them and requested a letter of recommendation. It was a requirement for her application as an out-state student. I asked the school's administrator Melissa in person, I followed up via email...no letter. She told us to come to the school to pick it, we show up...and no letter, she forgot. I would have more respect for them if they just said no. My daughter was heart broken because she thought that these were people that wanted to see her succeed. However this was not the case. I spent thousands of dollars over the past two years on costumes, performance fees, and tuition. I tolerated disorganization, lack of communication, etc. I have yet to hear back about the letter of recommendation, which we no longer want. Their only concern seemed to be the lose of tuition, as I pulled both of my kids from the program. The kids and their performances are nothing but free advertisments for the school. These people are not interested in providing real dance opportunities for these children. They are more interested in pushing their clothing lines and other side businesses, which is why none of their students move on to advanced dance programs outside of community college. If you have a child that is seriously interested in dance, look elsewhere. This is not the school for you.
Dec 22, 2022 · Saryia BeckettBeautiful dance studio that offers a bunch of different opportunities for dancers and choreographers. I took an intensive 3 hour class here and I loved the space the studio had and the opportunity to take a class from a choreographer who lives outside of philadelphia!
