Hip Hop Kidz has truly been one of the best programs my children have ever been a part of. Not only has it helped them grow as talented dancers, but it has also taught them the value of independence, discipline, and hard work. Beyond the steps and choreography, this program has instilled important moral values and built a strong sense of character in each of them because of Hip Hop Kidz , instructor and the owner Suzy Stone the president of the company that had taken my kids under her wings and I am beyond grateful. What makes Hip Hop Kidz stand out is that it’s more than just a dance program it’s a family. Jun 11, 2025 · Steven CossioHip Hop Kidz it’s more than just a dance program it’s a family. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything my son has accomplished with all the support the teachers have given to him. It’s a great dance program and my kid loves it
Jun 23, 2025 · Laura AlmaguerHipHopKidz is truly the best studio out there. Being part of this company means more than just growing as a dancer; it has also helped me grow as a person. I have learned valuable lessons that I will carry with me throughout my life, and I will forever be grateful to HipHopKidz.I went from being a shy kid who rarely spoke to confidently stepping onto a stage, teaching my own classes, and putting passion and dedication into everything I do. I have been blessed with numerous dance opportunities, including performing for many celebrities and even traveling to different states. HipHopKidz is, and will always be, my dance family for life, and I couldn't imagine being apart of any other dance company. This is the place you want to be!!
May 13, 2025 · Jillian LevineThe owner Suzie, of Hip Hop Kidz, was condescending, pushy, and unprofessional throughout our text message interaction. What should have been a simple inquiry about enrolling my 10-year old daughter quickly turned uncomfortable. It’s sad to know someone like this runs a youth program.🎭 Unnecessary Self-Promotion & ShamingDuring the trial class, she pulled parents aside to boast about celebrities and constantly put down other youth programs in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, calling them “bubble gum dancers.” Tearing down other youth programs isn’t inspiring, it’s tacky.💵 Misleading PricingInitially quoted $400 + plus $175 for an outfit and $275 for a 2-month period, but later told I’d owe $1,425 with little clarity. When I said I’d pay closer to the start date for the two month period she suggested I not attend their upcoming show which she offered free tickets to, and that my tickets would be given away.🙅🏽♀️ Unprofessional BehaviorDue to me stating I would only pay for the 2 month period, and closer to start date of Sept 8, she replied with Phrases like “every other parent takes care of what they need to” and “this is how we run our business” came across as dismissive and guilt-inducing, rather than informative or supportive. Suzies attitude was rude and guilt-tripping.🚩Unprofessional Conduct: After I respectfully declined to commit to the summer deposits, and pay closer to the date, I was told I might as well not attend the upcoming show and that my tickets would be reassigned. This felt unnecessary and passive-aggressive.📲 Disregarded Communication BoundariesDespite me saying I preferred text or email, she insisted on WhatsApp — even saying, “Why, you don’t have WhatsApp?” — and then flooded me with several unsolicited videos via text and whatsapp.🚩 Final VerdictIf you’re looking for a program that respects parents, communicates clearly, and values children’s well-being over ego, Hip Hop Kidz isn’t it. I trusted my gut and walked away. I recommend all other parents consider this as well.🚩 Key Red Flags:• Lack of upfront, transparent pricing.• Poor emotional regulation in business communication.• No demonstrated flexibility for families with different financial planning dates.• Guilt-tripping language and defensiveness when questions are asked.
Jun 03, 2025 · Beauty ReynaThis is the second year that my daughter is dancing with Hip Hop Kidz! She absolutely loves it! She is 10 years old and it took us a while to find an activity / exercise that she was passionate about. What I love the most is how inclusive the classes are. Suzy Stone, the owner, promotes a place for every gender, color, size! Everyone who attends feels comfortable they can be themselves. She will also not tolerate bullying. Instructors are fantastic. We ❤️ Hip Hop Kidz!
