the students here are SO mean and cliquey. no matter how long youve danced at the studio they will never accept you into their little group and will continuously make fun of you and leave you out. the teachers have such blatant favoritism and lots of dancers dont get put in the "good" dances that actually have a chance to win because they are not the favorites. the teachers dont even try to hide how much they dont care about the group thats not their favorites and the ones who arent the favorites usually get screwed over, ignored, or just thrown in the back. what im trying to say is your kid probably wont be cared about if they dont make it into that specific group. doing recreational dance is fine is fine tho its just on the comp team that this happens. - R
