Conservatory of Dance, LLC Reviews
Our daughter has attended classes for three years now, and has been on their dance team for two years. She is now in 4th grade. She has loved every minute. She loves her teachers and the girls on her team. The teachers are kind, caring, and very skilled in dance and choreography. The classes are of reasonable length and teach what I consider as a former dancer, excellent technique and skill without being overly strict or demanding. They are firm and encouraging. This past weekend was the recital. The choreography, music, costumes, and dancers were absolutely top notch spectacular! The music was clean and positive, as well as the costumes and choreography. So thankful to sit in the audience with my boys and family members and be proud of what is on stage. And believe me, after attending two years of competitions around the area I know what the other studios do. COD is one of the few that hold to a high level of class in all areas of the sport.
Jun 11, 2024 · Alicia GelnettMy daughter has been taking ballet, jazz, and tap and has been a member of the competition team for the past few years and LOVES it! What I love as a parent is that she is not only being taught technically sophisticated dance, but life skills as well - team building, discipline, and confidence. One of the skills that is fostered most is teaching the older dancers to mentor the younger dancers. You see high school students cheering for elementary school kids and helping them with their dances. Elementary school kids helping the little ones. It is amazing to watch. Christine and the staff foster a loving and inclusive environment - the kind that produces strong, smart, caring members of society.
Sep 01, 2021 · Lisa BrowerOur daughter has been dancing at the Conservatory of Dance Wilton since we moved from Long Island when she was 6. This dance studio offers everything. As a member of the dance team our daughter has made many close friends and the Nutcracker is now one of our family traditions. The instructors are top notch and they have harvested our daughters talent. Dance has played a major role in assisting her through the really challenging teenage years. We recommend the Conservatory of Dance at Wilton.
Sep 30, 2021 · helen knobThis dance school has been a nurturing environment where my girls feel accepted and safe, especially since Covid. The safety protocols are above and beyond. Both of my daughters have attended the Conservatory of Dance for years--since preschool. My older daughter is now entering middle school, and participates in their competition-level teams. It is run like a well-oiled machine in terms of scheduling classes and camps. Christine and Leslie and the other teachers are supportive, compassionate, engaging, and always looking to advance the skills of the dancers, but without an overly intense environment. The older girls "mentor" the younger ones in an informal way, by offering encouragement and guidance. The high school girls go on to advance their dance careers in college, and then come back to teach. Enthusiastic two thumbs up.
Aug 31, 2021 · D DMy daughter has had the pleasure of dancing at the Conservatory of Dance for the last 5 years. From tutus and fairy wands, to participating competitively for the past 3 years, we have seen her mature and grow immensely as a young woman and dancer. We love COD and are so happy to be part of the extended dance family!
