Classic Gymnastics Buffalo offers a comprehensive range of gymnastics and related sports programs, meticulously designed to cater to diverse age groups and skill levels.
Preschool Gymnastics: Tailored for younger children, these classes (e.g., "Classic Blossoms" for ages 3, "BloomTastics" for ages 4-5) focus on developing fundamental motor skills, balance, strength, flexibility, and body awareness through playful and engaging activities. "Classic Buds" (15 months - 3 years) are introductory classes where a parent or caregiver assists.
Recreational Gymnastics: For school-aged children (typically ages 5 and up), these co-ed programs provide a progressive learning environment. Classes like "Cartwheel Boys" (ages 5-7), "Cartwheel Girls" (ages 6-8), and various "Springer" levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced for ages 8/9+) teach skills on apparatus like vault, bars, and beam, alongside tumbling and trampoline.
Tumbling & Trampoline: Dedicated classes focusing on acrobatic skills, including cartwheel variations, round-offs, handsprings, aerials, saltos, and twists, with different levels (e.g., "Power Tumblers" for ages 12-Adult).
Ninja & Martial Arts Programs: Classic Gymnastics Buffalo offers exciting Ninja classes (co-ed, ages 5-12 years) that are fun and challenging, focusing on fitness and obstacle course skills. They also offer Traditional Japanese Shotokan Style Karate classes for ages 6 to adult, with small class sizes and opportunities for local competitions.
Competitive Teams: For dedicated gymnasts, Classic Gymnastics fields competitive teams (typically ages 6-18 years) that participate in USA Gymnastics (USAG) sanctioned events. They offer rigorous training schedules and personalized skill development for gymnasts committed to excelling in the sport. Classic Gymnastics was named the 2017 USA Xcel Program of the Year for Texas (indicating their overall program strength across locations).
Homeschool Programs: Specialized classes designed for homeschooling families, allowing siblings to learn together in a fun environment (ages 5-12).
Camps & Special Events: The facility offers summer camps, flexible summer sessions, and "Open Gym" opportunities for various age groups, providing additional training and recreational time. They also host birthday parties, allowing children to enjoy a fun and active celebration.

The staff is trained and experienced to promote an "enthusiastic and fun atmosphere," while also being "100% safety certified and educated at the top of the industry." This combination of expertise, enthusiasm, and a strong safety focus is a significant highlight.
Holistic Development Approach: Classic Gymnastics emphasizes that "through gymnastics, children learn to develop important physical, mental and social skills." This holistic approach ensures that students gain more than just physical prowess; they build confidence, discipline, and healthy respect for themselves and others.
Year-Round, Continuous Programs: Unlike some session-based programs, Classic Gymnastics Buffalo offers a year-round program, eliminating the need for seasonal re-enrollments. Once a spot is secured, it's continuous, providing stability and consistency for student progress. As gymnasts grow in age or skill, their class schedule may adjust, but continuity is maintained.
Comprehensive Curriculum for All Levels: From toddlers as young as 15 months in "Move with Me" to competitive gymnasts and adults in tumbling classes, the studio provides a clear progression path. This ensures that every child, regardless of their starting point, can find a suitable program to achieve milestones and reach their goals.
Diverse Program Offerings: Beyond traditional gymnastics, the inclusion of popular Ninja classes and traditional Karate provides a broader range of athletic experiences, catering to varied interests within the family. This diversification makes the facility a versatile choice for local parents.
Commitment to Facility Upgrades: Public information indicates that the Buffalo facility is undergoing significant expansion, adding 6,000 sq ft of gym space and expanding the balcony viewing area with more seating and live-streaming TVs (reopening with upgrades by July 14, 2025). This investment demonstrates a strong commitment to providing a state-of-the-art training environment for its students.
Part of a Reputable Network: Being one of six Classic Gymnastics locations in Minnesota and part of a company founded in 1996 with management holding over 200 years of combined experience in the industry, ensures a professional and well-run operation. Classic Gymnastics Buffalo Reviews
My daughter loves gymnastics. Coaches are great and I appreciate the update if she’s ready to enter the next level. My son was in ninja as well and they were kind enough to check in on him when he fell. My only complaint is I can’t seem to ever get a hold or a call back. It wasn’t like this maybe a year ago but perhaps it’s low staff I’m not sure. I just get very unlucky getting a hold of someone.
Mar 03, 2025 · AdrianaBM4Definitely won't go the extra mile to help consistent clients. Telling me you don't have enough staff to watch over the kids but then proceed to focus on changing out trash bags doesn't make alot of sense. As a fellow business owner, I can see right through the lack of desire to help. I asked for a couple of mins to make a 3 year olds day..
May 10, 2025 · kevin servinClassic Gymnastics is an incredible environment for any gymnast. The supportive atmosphere and dedicated coaches have not only helped my daughter gain numerous skills but have also boosted her confidence and passion for the sport. Every time she heads to practice, she's filled with excitement and eagerness to learn- even on "over-splits day". I'm so grateful for the positive impact Classic Gymnastics has and is having on my gymnast.
Apr 08, 2024 · Britt PMy girls love gymnastics at Classic! Classes are easy to schedule and move if needed. Recreation is just enough to give them time to learn new skills and work on what they have down. They have grown much better and are motivated to continue moving up.
Aug 02, 2023 · Leslie HadashMy daughter has been in the gymnastics program for the last 8 years at Gym-Nation, starting as a preschooler and has been a member of their pre-team groups and competition team. They have always been nothing but top notch. The coaches and staff have been excellent to work with and have always communicated well with us as parents and also my child. The giggles and smiles from our daughter when we pick her up from practice four times a week remind us that she is truly cared about at this gym. This gym is our home away from home.
