Mar 12, 2024 · kathryn bergerAlthough Centennial State Ballet (CSB) used to be only the performance side of the partnership with Longmont Dance Theatre Academy (LDTA), it has now absorbed the training, using both teachers and philosophy from LDTA/Kristin Kingsley. CSB has a long history of excellent performances and a large pool of committed volunteers as well as an extremely professional set of instructors for training young and old in the art of dance, with ballet as the focus..My children and grandchildren have greatly benefited from their association with CSB and the opportunity to perform.I am personally pleased to continue my support of CSB through donations of time and materials, as well as the purchase of tickets which allow me to be entertained by the incredible talents of these performers and evincing the efforts of the training staff.Thank you for the beauty you provide.
Mar 12, 2024 · Eileen HickeyI'm a CSB alumni and have had such great experiences with this ballet company. All the directors are amazing and very talented and promote emotional, mental, and physical health in dancers. I've thoroughly enjoyed dancing and performing with CSB. I loved every bit from rehearsals to stage. Everything from the production process to the costumes is professional. I highly recommend CSB to any youth dancers who dream of being in the Nutcracker or any ballet production.
Oct 25, 2023 · Hannah FreemanMy daughter has been part of LDTA/Centennial State Ballet since she was 4 and she is now 6 . She has taken part in their recitals and the Nutcracker. We love this school not only because she is learning ballet from amazing teachers but because they promote a positive and accepting atmosphere. This is not your typical caddy dance environment. The older dancers are always helpful with the younger kids, giving them their attention and helping them through their parts. The same goes for the parents of the dancers, I have only had great experiences since my daughter has been here.
