Carolanne Killmer School of Dance Reviews
Carolanne is going above and beyond to make her studio an uplifting learning space AND safe for everyone even during a pandemic. She is energetic, enthusiastic, and patient. We are lucky to be able to send our 4-year old to her studio.
Oct 22, 2020 · Yeagi BroadwellMy girls dance for Carolanne killmer for 5 years. My girls was in 4 classes. Was always being yelled at or just ignored them or take the time to teach them. If you was not her favorite (which she had. Who was allowed to do what they wanted even not follow recital dress codes) by the end my girls hated dance and did not go back to something they once loved. Caroline crushes dreams unless you are favorite.
Sep 03, 2023 · Sophia AndersonCarolanne's teaching has and continues to shape my life...words cannot ever express my gratitude for having her and her studio in my life...but I will try:Hi Everyone! My name is Liz – I started dancing with Carolanne around the age of 3. Since then, dance has remained a huge part of my life and what I have learned I can say has truly shaped my life.I went through the first generation of classes offered for Irish dancing which lead me to professionally preform and dance with local band Equinox for eight years, dancing all over the state of Michigan and even recording on a couple of albums. After college I moved to Florida. One of my peers was from Colombia and urged me to try Latin Dance classes. I was open to trying new things and because of my dance background, was excited to try something new.Dance as we all know, is a great way to quickly make new friends. I met some of my very best friends because of dance, and even began teaching. Any time I would travel I was able to go out and find a way to connect with a new community because of this new social hobby. I also pursued my certification in teaching yoga. It is because of Carolanne’s influence in my life that I went out the night I did and had the courage to ask my now dance partner and love of my life, Greg, to dance at a social dance event.Together we dance, perform, and teach. We currently live in Springfield, Massachusetts. I teach yoga and work as a Project Manager and Estimator for Chicopee Industrial Contractors. I continue to cherish these memories we've shared and look forward to the new ones still making their way into our lives. Thank you Carolanne from the bottom of my heart!
