Black Widow Pole Arts Reviews
As a retired dancer, I was looking for a new movement discipline and a new form of expression. I decided to take a class as it was something I have wanted to do for a long time. It has been a phenomenal experience since day one. All the instructors that I have studied with are so encouraging and willing to go the extra mile to help you out with technique and movement. I fully appreciate the attention to detail and breakdown of technique and execution. They are very safety conscious while still allowing you to explore movement and expression. I am honored to be able to take classes from all these wonderful artists. It’s been a completely cathartic and mind opening experience. My heart is full from the energy of this studio.
Apr 05, 2024 · Eric SalazarI had such an amazing experience!! I did Pole 101 as a complete beginner and I felt so comfortable, accepted, and at home. First of all, I love how discreet the studio is - you can’t see in and it’s not overtly a pole studio. I also enjoyed that the doors are locked, which made me feel safe. The instructor I had was kind, respectful and made me feel comfortable being there. The studio was super clean, with the option to re clean the poles ourselves, and I saw the instructor clean when we were done. Everyone was great about wearing their masks, which was very appreciated!I think the studio, the environment, and the teachers are all amazing!
Oct 06, 2021 · Samantha NagelI had always wanted to learn how to do pole, so after years of contemplating it, I finally took the plunge and am so happy that I did. I chose Black Widow because of how friendly, approachable, and body-positive their vibe is compared to other studios. Every single class, I learned something that I never thought I could do as a beginner. I loved Molly's enthusiasm and clear love of teaching! I appreciate so much that she said "this is a safe space", and how much she encouraged me to trust myself, applauding all of my efforts. Absolutely wonderful people work here. I have taken three Pole 101 classes here and plan to take more. Thank you!
May 01, 2022 · RGBeautiful studio with very tall poles and cool lighting.Almost 14 foot, 45mm chrome X Poles (6 total I believe).I took the Rx Class with Joanna. She was a thorough instructor, and as someone with tons of pole experience who hasn’t been in the studio for a long time, I found that she challenged me with simple yet specific techniques to help rebuild my flow foundations. I had fun!I am so glad I finally got in the car and drove downtown to try this place! You should too!YAY!Five stars!
May 09, 2021 · S&S ProductionsBlack Widow has a fantastic facility. The poles are tall and there are lots of crash mats. Mirror coverage is excellent. Prices are reasonable with discounts for students, active duty military, veterans, and exotic dancers. When I signed up there was a 50% discount for the first class, so if you are on the fence give it a try!
