I'll start by saying: my 5 year old daughter went to Bayer last school year. The teachers are professional, the shows are beautiful. So professionally I have no complaints. My problem is with their attitude and financial fairness. The tuition has to be paid in full upon registration, no cancellations and no refunds under any circumstances. Is it not a secret that kids can change their minds, people might have to move away due to work change or other reasons. Bayer does not accept any excuses. So be prepared to pay a lot of money upfront. I saw a few parents forcing their kids to go into class even if they cried and it broke my heart, I guess it's related to the fact that they already paid and didn't want to lose the money. For advanced pre ballet track you'll find yourself paying close to $4k upfront.Second, in 2024-2025 the classes were supposed to end on June 10th but instead they ended on May 29th without an explanation, and parents didn't get an automatic refund for the missing classes. After I caught the mistake I emailed them and they offered me to take additional classes over the summer. But it's only thanks to me paying attention to details. Be prepared to read their contract thoroughly.Third, your kids' school breaks might not align with their breaks so if you're going way on vacation for Spring break for example, expect to miss some rehearsals. Last year those were rehearsals for a concert and it was annoying they did it this way.Lastly, there's zero communication between the instructors and the parents which I don't like. You can't watch the classes, you don't see the instructor before or after your class, and then you might find that your child who's the shortest in class is places in the last row in the show and can barely be seen from the audience. Very annoying. That being said, my daughter enjoys going to classes and she gains good ballet skills, the location is convenient for us, so we signed her up for an additional year. - Mila Gorodetsky
