Ballet Academy Lincoln Park Reviews
I’ve been going to adult ballet classes at Ballet Academy Lincoln Park for 6-7 months now.I’m not a parent so I can’t speak to the kids experiences but there’s a class right before ours and the kids seem to adore her! ❤️I’ve also never been to this specific location since the adult classes held at the Athenaeum Theater. (There are two locations) That location does have parking close by.The adult classes are small and have varying numbers of students with different experience levels. Some of the students are former dancers who want to get back into dance. Others are like me and started as complete beginners. The classes have something for everyone. Usually the class starts slow and builds up on difficulty level. The teacher is accommodating and encouraging to every student. She’ll take the time to make corrections and adjustments for each student, as necessary, but also keeps the pace of the class going. It is ballet so it’s challenging but beautiful. Classes are focused but there is no pressure and are fun! (The kids classes have performances so I can’t speak to that) If you’re considering trying out ballet or looking to get back into it, I highly recommend! I’ve really enjoyed going for the past 6-7 months! I’ve learned a lot! It’s given me something to look forward to each week!
