Backstage Dance Studio Reviews
Where do I begin, this place used to have an amazing setup, the owner was presentable and very friendly, always willing to help out everyone, talk to all the parents, and knew how to run it. It may seem like a nice studio and a place where you can take your children to have a good time, but that isn’t the case anymore. when the old owner left and gave it up to a new owner, this one employee, Ms. Tina, I have never met a more inconsiderate and rude person, she has the audacity to talk behind not only the parents back, but the children’s as well, but the moment you step into the studio, she acts as if nothing is wrong and will proceed to converse with you, just to keep everything flowing. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for their child to dance at.
Jun 26, 2025 · John BurrowMy niece tried this place out for a while to see if she liked dancing. She was with the 4-5 year old group. She had a great time learning different techniques and looked forward each week to coming here. We took her out because she lost interest but I enjoyed watching her at practices. It's a great activity to explore and try for children. The teacher was very informative and kind to the students. I'm happy my niece had a great time here.
Oct 21, 2024 · Analisa HarveyI’m honestly not even doing this for the competition. I’m making this review because this place means so much to me and it’s the least I can do right now. I started going to this dance studio when I was 5 years old. That was 18 years ago. I first started out in Ms. Heather’s ballet class. Then I started taking tap classes and musical theatre classes on top of ballet class. I liked to keep myself busy as a kid. This place was like my family. Ms. Heather and Steve has made a huge impact in my life. I don’t know where I would be now without this dance studio. Ms. Heather shaped me into the woman I am today. She was tough and she made me cry, but it was so necessary. She taught me the discipline I need to not only level up in dance but to level up through life. She taught me to never give up no matter how much it hurts. (And trust me, going on pointe hurt!). I’m sad that I haven’t been going to the adult classes but that’s for my own personal reasons. Ms. Heather always welcomed me into her studio with open arms. And Steve would still call me by my name with his French accent no matter how long I’ve been gone. I know I’ll always have a home and support system in this dance studio. Thanks for all the memories. They were the greatest.
Oct 10, 2021 · Kaylee PerryMy son has been going to Backstage for 7 years and we are very happy. The teachers are amazing and professional. The owners are also very knowledgeable and create a very warm learning environment for all dance students. This has become our second home and would highly recommend this studio for dance students of all ages.
Oct 18, 2021 · Catherine Vasquez MontenegroThis was my first year (sorta lol) at backstage. I was allowed to try the classes. I wanted to sign up for before I signed up for them. I tried hip-hop and jazz. . When I tell you everybody there is so sweet and understanding. It's crazy like I mean it. When I tried jazz, I literally fell during across the floor I was super embarrassed and I kind of expected people to laugh at me, but everybody came to me and saw if I was fine instead of just laugh at me, everybody at backstage is so sweet and understanding, I love every teacher if you're looking for a studio I definitely recommend it. Recitals are super fun. I've made so many friends and I litterally cried the last day of the recital because I wouldn't be at dance for like 5 weeks lol.
